Guys- I tried out a new NBA system that did very well this year. I want to try it against past years data. I have access to all the game scores for up to many years back. What I need is the best source for historical opening and closing lines for all NBA games played for the last 5-10 years. I figure at least 5 years would give me a statisically good sample size and 10 would be great.

Does anyone know the best place to get such data? I would prefer it in bulk form to import right into my worksheet. Thanks in advance... JJ

Try Donbest, they have a free 10 day account I believe. They have the kind of historical data you are looking for.

also a neat little program from MicroBrothers at microbro.com has a demo version, that only allows you to use it for historical data and not current, but since you are not looking for current stuff...

These should be a step in the right direction.
