The following is a breakdown by player of the number of winning scenarios out of the 32,768 remaining. The first through fourth columns following the player's name correspond to the number of 1 st through 4 th place finishes finishes respectively. (Note that if for example, two players tie for first place, then in this analysis each would receive credit for half of both first and second places. The next closest place in the rankings would then only receive credit for third place.) The last column represents the number of scenarios in which the player places in ANY money position (either alone or jointly).

A few observations: - Not all scenario are equally likely. Indeed some may beconsiderably more or less likely than others.
- It's mathematically impossible for 212 of this year 293 contestants to finish in the money.
- All of last year's 3 money place finishers (pags, imgv, and Ganchrow) have been eliminated from contention for 1st place. Ganchrow has been eliminated from contention entirely.
- Mulinello is currently tied for 29th place with coasty163 and Nightwolfkicksaz. Nevertheless, the second highest number of possible final outcomes (about 13.0%) have him winning 1st place or 2nd place (about 13.0%) .
- Over half of the remaining possible outcomes have Wade Wright winning 1st place.
- The highest score still possible is 343, attainable by both Wade Wright and Mulinello. The highest number of correct picks still possible is 56, attainable only by Wade Wright.

- Technically speaking, the "probabilities" are actually the share of the given place the player expects (which in most cases this will be very close to the probability). This means that if two player had locked up ties for first and second places, each player's "share" of first place would be 50% as would each player's share of seconds place. In this manner the "probability" for any given scenario will all sum to 100%.
- The final column represents the current expected value or "fair price" of the given position. In other words, this is the maximum dollar amount a risk neutral individual would theoretically be willing for the player's bracket entry.
- Because no Pinnacle money were available for national semi-final results, all 16 remaining schools were judged equally probable of winning that round should they make it that far. This means that stronger teams will be judged with relatively too low a conditional probability of making the finals, and relatively too high a conditional probability of winning the finals.
