Random bracket thooughts
The "left" side of the bracket got screwed. Of the top 20 teams (via Sagarin), 14 are from the left, 6 from the right.
Strength of schedule to win: Kansas and UCLA got it the worst. Florida is only marginally better... how can Florida be favored to win it all? I like the SBR format better than the generic one. I filled out a bracket to go against my friends, and it was dull. Just 4 "upsets" before the final 4. The SBR rules encourage some "crazy" brackets, even when maximizing your expected points. Kudos to SBR! |
