March Madness Bracket Tourney
$5,000 March Madness Brackets Contest - FREE
- Step 1: Register a user name for this forum if you do not already have one.
- Step 2: Create an account at www.JTbet.com if you do not already have one. Players who do not already have an account must signup here.
- Step 3: All players must submit their Justbet account ID (PM or email) to CrazyLou prior to the start of the Free NCAA Bracket Tourney in order to be eligible for prizes.
$5,000 March Madness Brackets Contest - FREE
2009 RULES:- Contestants must be registered members of SBR Forum.
- Only one entry per household and/or PC
- Duplicate entries will result in disqualification
- Contest closes to new entrants one hour prior to tip-off of the first first-round game on March 19
- Contestants will be able to fill out their brackets after the teams are announced on Sunday, March 15
- In the event that 2 or more contestants are tied, the prize amounts in question will be combined and divided equally
- SBR Forum staff and their families are not eligible to win any listed prizes
- All decisions made by SBR with regards to this contest are final
- Prize winners are subject to the terms and conditions of JustBet
KEY DATES: - Sunday, March 15 - Selection Sunday (contest opens*)
- Tuesday, March 17 - Opening Round play-in game (contestants treat these teams as one pick)
- Thursday, March 19 - First Round Begins (contest closes)
- Saturday, April 4 - Final Four Begins
- Monday, April 6 - National Championship (contest winners determined)
SCORING:
- Round One - 1 point per win PLUS seed differential (if underdog picked & wins)
- Round Two - 2 points per win
- Round Three - 4 points per win
- Round Four - 8 points per win
- Round Five - 12 points per win
- Round Six - 16 points per win MULTIPLIED by seed number
PRIZES:
- Total Purse: $5000 from JustBet
- Prizes awarded in the form of cash balance at JustBet
- All cash prizes subject to 5x rollover and JustBet terms & conditions
- Top 10 Finishers' accounts at JustBet will be credited as follows:
- $2,000
- $1,000
- $500
- $400
- $325
- $225
- $175
- $150
- $125
- $100

I like that scoring system.....
sam what kind of scoring would you prefer.... are you gonna be running a big bracket contest for cash at your school? Sam have you considered booking at your school? it can be very profitable with clueless college squares... you can take a -7 line in college football public favs and move it to -13 and still have people pounding the favs

Chi_ I've been running Fantasy Football for over 3 years. I created my own program to do scoring and shit. 12 People each year, friends and family.
I've also run NCAA brackets since 9th grade. I also created a scoring program, not as good, but it work....last year I had 73 ppl in it friends/family.

why don't you like this system then???? pretty similar but you get rewarded if you are keen and pick some under-dogs....
imo picking a 12 over 5 upset..should not only get you 1 point, the same as picking a 16 over 1
ect... |
