Comments on early lines for CLT regional
UNC -7.5 over Washington St - I would be shocked if this line is not at 9 when I wake up tomorrow and at 11 by gametime. This will be a slaughter.
Louisville -2 over Tennessee - Have had this game circled since the brackets came out. Was hoping Louisville would be getting points instead of giving but the oddsmakers have obviouslt been paying attention to how the teams have been playing of late and recognize that the Cards are a more complete team at this point. I expect this line to remain pretty steady and close at Louisville -2.
I love both of these as of now.

well, I'd be shocked if UNC got to gametime a DD fav against WSU and to be perfectly honest, I expect the line to go down. About 70-80% of games, money shows on the dog not the favorite. So my advice would be to wait a bit if you like UNC, you should be able to get a good number.
UNC is playing real well right now, but WSU is a very very good team and UNC has yet to see a defense like this. I am leaning toward WSU right now. I think this is one of those correlated parlays (WSU+under or UNC + Over).
I think UL/Tenn is priced just right. No real opinion as of yet, but I think a lot of people think Tenn is a fraud and I am not so sure about that. Both teams playing well with UL playing better and from a better conference. I'll look toward the line movement to make a play. If it goes up to +3 or higher I'll be on Tenn---1.5 or lower on Louisville. I'll let the line movement dictate my selection.
Good luck.....

I'm a bit surprised its at 7.5. I think it closes at 6 or 6.5 and would be even more surprised that there's a slaughter with the defense and pace that WSU will bring to the table. I played WSU at +7.5 as I think we got an extra point from UNC's back to back 100 pt efforts. Remember WSU just completely shutdown a ND team putting up 80 a game.

Don't forget the home court advantage.

I am absolutely POUNDING the UNC-WSU OVER at 142.5 Do you realize that ALL YEAR, UNC totals have gone under that # ... 4 times?!? I understand what WSU did to Notre Dame. But UNC is two classes above ND with the athletes they possess IMO. ND was a team full of shooters + Harangody down low. UNC is a bunch of scorers who aren't reliant on the 3 and I think their quickness is going to totally F WSU's world up.

My whole thought process here is that UNC does what they do. Through shock & awe in the 1st half, they build a lead and that takes their opponent out of what they want to do & then it's off to the races. Only way this goes under IMO is if WSU can keep Carolina close at the half. Even then, it could be a 40-35 type of score because Carolina's D is so flimsy.

Hmmm, holdiong stead this morning at 7.5. Louisville has jumped to 2.5.
I just don't see WSU having the athletes to stay with N Carolina for 40 mins. They will attempt to dictate temp early and make it a grind it out game but I don't think they can do this for 40 minutes. UNC wins handily going away IMHO.

Louisville is going to destroy Tennessee, and Bruce Pearl's face is going to go chartreuse.

Looks like there are only a few UNC backers so far. Yes Wash. St. took ND out of their game, but, I would be shocked to see them do that to NC. I am going back to the drawing board and just betting the better team!! NC!!

Hmmm....how long have you been betting? Do you really think that there is going to be a 4.5 line movement for the favorite on a neutral court in a regional semifinal game in the NCAA tournament? Come on man??? Do you think the linesmaker is that much off? Trust me, this line may move a half-point/point in either direction.
I am not sure who is going to cover but something tells me that you can really go to school on this game and find a winner. There is probably a right side to this game if you do your homework given the contrast in styles that both teams feature. I still say that if you like WSU + you might as well parlay it with the the under and conversely if you like NC - the points you should also take the over. These two teams are day and night and whoever can establish their tempo should cover.

4 pt line move call was preposterous in retrospect but I do honestly think this is a mismatch and UNC will win by double digits
I hope the line continues to drop

Pac 10 meet the Acc.....I guess we will see in the end, but I have heard way to much talk on here about how the best conference is the Pac 10 and the ACC is garbage and we all saw how that worked out for Wash St. I guess N.C. is still "overrated" as many like to call them here??? Good job shipit on your pick as I was all over this play as well Just for the record I am a fan of the ACC, but think that the Big East is by far the best conference this year!
