Default Wake/Va Tech Over 137

I had this thing capped almost 10 points higher. This one seems like a slam dunk to me. I just had to wait for BetJam to post the totals before getting my thoughts in on this. Wake hasn't had a game go under 137 in a month. These two teams combined for 152 last meeting with both shooting around 43% (though VaTech got to the stripe an astounding 32 times-converting on 29 of them). Still, I see this one going over and I have now made it my largest wager of the day. Thoughts and opinions welcome.

Seriously, I'm looking for a contradictory point of view here... Anyone?

Well, Virginia Tech home games are only averaging 130.8 points this season, mainly because the Hokies defense allows just 59.6 points on 38% shooting at home. They were certainly impressive holding Boston College to 48 points last game.

Yes, Wake Forest could score, but they aren't quite as good on the road, where they average 68.4 points on 40.6% shooting compared to 73 points and 43.4% overall.

Finally, the money seems to be coming in on Virginia Tech (opened -4.5, now -6) and the Under (opened 137.5, now 136.5), which seems to be a natural correlation.

LT, good thoughts. I say your 4 pack and am on 2 of them (no opinion on Wright St. total_ but am against you on this one sir. I hate to see that my top play of the day is going against you but I feel pretty strongly about this. I would say that I expect a physical game and while I certainly don;t expect Va. Tech to hit 29-32 FT's (as they did in their last meeting), I'm at least expecting a total of 25 FT's made between both teams. Best of luck to you sir, but I have a great feel about this one.

Only worry I would have is if Wake "O" gets shut down into the low 60s, Va.Tech might not have enough to get it over on their own. Seems fairly solid though. GL!

Wow, sorry for being off on my analysis, but at least we still hit it (albeit by 1 point). 138... Crazy.
