Default Xavier at RI

This game seems a little fishy. I noticed the line has swung from RI +2.5 to -1.5. I guess the majority of the public is going for the home team.

Well im a square for betting this game early this AM and gettin Xavier -1.5. With that being said I still think Xavier wins this game. They want to become an elite team and they should be up for this game.

This is why Xavier will win:

The Musketeers have won 12 straight regular season meetings with the Rams, including the last five in Kingston.
Rhode Island has lost its last 15 games versus ranked opponents since a 70-63 win over then-No. 21 Utah on Dec. 2, 1998.

This doesn't mean much with a hurt leading scorer and point guard who runs the offense...and URI beat Xavier in the conference tourny last year...it should be a close game...would be URI's first home loss this year...if Lavender was healthy I wouldn't be on URI

Psychologically this doesn't help RI knowing they are owned by Xavier. They keep losing to them because they are the worst team. RI cannot deliver against ranked teams. They lost to UMass, Temple and barely escaped Fordham after being down for the whole game.

URI beat Xavier in the conference tourny last year the last time they played...and are undefeated at home so they won't feel inferior at all...

as WS said, last time these two teams played, RI won. As for the home record of the rams, i believe the road record of the teams RI has beaten is something like 40-107. doesnt say much about'em.

Yes RI won at a neutral venue on a meanigless game at the A-10 tournament. You are a fool if you are discounting the fact they lost 15 in a row and 5 in row at their own home to Xavier.

having Xavier's most important player hurt is more important then past stats...I'm no fool ..I see the past trends Lavender hurting is why I'm on URI...besides, I have two teasers URI +5 and +8.5 as well...so if they lose and it stays close..I'm doing just fine....GL on the play

Xavier won the regural season title and had qualified for NCAA tournament so the loss to RI at semifinal was meaningless for them.

you're not making much of a case. calling a conference tourney game meaningless is silly. simple as that.

It was in doubt for most of the 2nd half...RI went on a 3 minute streak without any points towards the end. Congrats to anyone on Xavier...81-77 xavier

The facts were that he was questionable and likely to not play...a big reason for the 4 point line move.
