The Buckeyes’ very talented freshman guard, Jon Diebler (most points in Ohio high school history -- more than LeBron James), has finally warmed up from beyond the arc. After shooting terribly from 3-point range over the first several games, he now has his feet under him and has shot .543 from long in the last 6 games. This is exactly what the Buckeyes needed, and I don’t know that lines have caught up yet.

Duke -13 (v. Temple, neutral site near Temple)
Temple can’t stop Duke’s 3-point scoring, and Temple won’t get many good looks for themselves. Blowout.

Arizona State -2 (v. Arizona)
ASU is going to cap an epic homestand with a victory over their in-state rivals. Arizona’s 10-point loss to not-as-good-as-advertised Oregon (a team ASU beat by 8 just a few days earlier) tells me that Arizona is going through a bad stretch. Much of the trouble is Jerryd Bayless’ knee -- even if he plays, he will not be 100%. ASU will be motivated to get back at Arizona for years of domination.

UAB +2 (at Tulane)
UAB has had the harder schedule, and, IMO, is better than many think. They have played some good teams tough in fairly close losses (Florida State, Rhode Island, South Florida). They beat Kentucky in Louisville (for what that is worth). Tulane has been a cover machine lately, but it looks to me like that might end today.
