Projected top 25 Mid Major Teams

Now im sure some of you will probably think this is a joke of a top 25 poll. But I am a die hard fan of college basketball and here is a look at last years top 25 I had

    1. Siena
    2. Butler
    3. Gonzaga
    4. Dayton
    5. Western Kentucky

the top 5 are the easy ones
    6. Xavier
    7. San Diego State
    8. UNLV
    9. St. Marys
    10. Southern Illinois-- player suspended they drop in my ranks
    11. Delaware-- Mason or Delaware
    12. Radford
    13. St. Louis
    14. George Mason- will it be Mason or Delaware
    15. Tulsa
    16. Belmont
    17. Toldedo-- Ohio or Toldedo this year
    18. Illinois State
    19. Niagra
    20. Liberty
    21. Santa Clara
    22. College of Charleston
    23. Nicholls State
    24. Ohio-- Ohio or Toledo
    25. Fairfield

I apparently had Siena at the one spot. Keep I mind I created these last June/July. You could make an argument with Dayton being a Mid Major is the A-10 a power conference now. I think it has proved itself to be a quality conference and I would like to take consider the A10 a power league.

Southern Illinois ended up choking under pressure they had the raw talent but just couldnt handle the pressure Im gonna give them another shot in the 2010-2011 season though.

Delaware was a complete FLOP for me. Im deciding on what to do with them next year. I have to wonder if its there coach thats causing problems they have raw talent for a CAA league that is competitive.

Radford ended up choking in the Conference tourney

St.Louis was a team I was loving in the preseason and they got it done with a very impressive season.

I was having a hard decision with the MAC preseason teams. I loved Toledo and Ohio to win there conference. Toledo like Delaware has the talent but I have to question the coaching. Toledo fired there coach though and will have a new coach for the 2010-2011 season.

Ohio got the job done though and ended up winning the conference. I was loving the Chicago Guard DJ COOPER going to play there. Guard that flew way under the radar not getting the respect he deserved.

Illinois State ended up choking once again

Fairfield had a great season and im expecting high expectations from them in the 2010-2011 season. They have a power TRANSFER coming in. With already the best Guard in the MAAC.

Now lets take a look at next seasons top 25

I am not going to lie though. I am putting a lot of emphasis into 1 player for this team. I really think he is going to be a make or break player for them

St.Louis just keeps getting better and better. Holding them at the 2 spot no matter what. They have a very strong class of players coming in.

Rick Majerus doing his work recruting talent

Im keeping a close eye on BELMONT they have recruited a player from Hargrave Military Academy. Which is a basketball power house . He is a 2nd or 3rd tier player out of the Academy meaning he has played with some of the best talent in the country.

And there leading scorer IAN CLARK was a low profile player I watched early in the season but completly faded BELMONT. He ended up leading the team in scoring his Freshmen year t hough at 15 ppg

They won 26 games, had a good run in Conference Tourney, and the A-10 Player of the year, Kevin Anderson, withdrew from NBA draft

are you an IDIOT tell me when you see a f u cking Atlantic 10 game on tv every single night. Tell me when they get there own f ucking national broadcast put on. Tell me when they play Power Conferences every single day of the week.

    Big Ten Network own channel

Pac 10 Sunday Hoops on comcast on sundays

    SEC hoops ESPN

ACC Hoops on Comcast on sundays

The A-10 has there own package of some sort but you have to live in that area.

I live in the Midwest so I see MVC and Horizion league basketball games aired on television frequently. It depends on where you live.

Atlantic 10? I love the conference but there not on daily. There an elite program but they dont play nationally recognized programs every day. Get a ****ing life man
