I won't be betting on this game, but I'll sure as hell be hoping that you win this play bud! I have Ohio State in an ATS pool for the whole tournament! Best of luck on this play man!

I love Georgetown in this game. Wish I jumped on them when they opened at +1.5, but I still really like them as the small fav. I think they win this one comfortably. They have the perimeter defenders to keep Conley out of the lane, and unless Oden dominates Hibbert (very unlikely) I don't think the Buckeyes matchup well with the Hoyas. Who is going to guard Jeff Green? I expect him to dominate this game.
What do you guys think this line will close at? |

I was on OSU when they were the early faves. Georgetown is getting all the publicity because of the win over UNC I think.

If Xavier's Justin Cage made one more free throw. Ohio State wouldn't even be playing in this game..

Razz, are you being sarcastic? Florida plays with fear, undoubtedly, but Georgetown???
I hate this line, but agree with the sentiments that Jeff Green will be the difference here. Take a look at Gtown's body of work over the season vs. OSU's. I like Gtown's chances of winning the whole thing, and think that OSU is the weakest of the Final 4 teams. |

Interesting, I was going to post about Oden and foul trouble. I would lean to Georgetown only because of Oden's possibility of, and propensity for, foul trouble. It's really up to the refs. They absolutely know that if they whistle Oden for a few fouls they will be handing the game over to GTown. Will they let him do what he wants, so the game stays competitive? Or will they sit him, knowing they will be crippling OSU?
But I found an article about it that says it all already. I actually think the refs will give Oden major benefit of the doubt in this one, and he won't have to sit for long stretches like he did vs Memphis, and the game will go down to the last shot. http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/news;_...wire&type=lgns Last edited by The HG; 03-30-07 at 04:54 PM.. |

So just who are the 2 most talented teams in your opinion? Kansas and UNC??? Please don't say Texas A&M because they were garbage in the tournament and were very lucky to beat Louisville... Everyone was SO BIG ON A&M... They have alway sucked in the tournament and they did once again... They made the Sweet 16, big deal, everyone had them pegged to go to Atlanta and they faltered once again...

Yeah, UNC and Kansas are (were), IMO, the two most talented teams. Florida is of course right there, and OSU, Texas, Memphis, Oregon, etc. are a little behind that group at the top.

Texas A&M wasn't a top 20 team by talent. Gillespie and the heart of several of the players helped that team to achieve much more than the sum of their parts.

2 fouls on Oden. OSU in big trouble.

Doesn't OSU play better w/o Oden?

I agree without Oden in this game especially it makes it tougher on them. They are playing a team that is staked up down low with Hibbert and Green Oden really needed to stay out of foul trouble this game it is going to be big on Hunters shoulders right now to box out and not allow second chance points.

Good job OSU assuming they win. They fought hard in that game it will be interesting to see if Florida pulls through and wins to have a rematch of the Football championship.
