Hello All,

I am new to the forums but I am not new to handicapping. I am starting my own experiment where I will choose between my own picks and system plays that I feel are strong. My goal is to turn my $4000 into $20,000.

My picks will come from a wide variety of sports and don't only include sides or totals. There is a lot of money to be made in many different ways. For example, you might see a play from me that both sides of a soccer game are in play, in essense a "Lay the Draw" play. You might see me pick 1Q play on an NBA game that requires you to double up on a loss. I will even throw a tennis play in there every now and again.

I do not proclaim to be a revolutionary handicapper with new ideas for plays. I am a student of sports handicapping and my research has given me an edge over the books. When I say edge I would say I am about 58% accurate. Sometimes I go on hot streaks and sometimes I am cold.

Also, I am not big on write ups. However, there will be times when I provide some reasoning for my plays.

If you do intend to follow my plays you will need a sports book that allows for quarter and half betting. You will need a book that lets you play all major sports.

Quick question, why by 2 points that is going to give you around -140 on your spread right, its probably better off to just pay a little extra for the moneyline. You are getting pretty good value for the extra 3.5 points if you do that.

The ML at the time I made this bet was -220. It has since gone down to -207. For some reason the line is going down on this game instead of up. I don't mind this so much because I view it as the books trying to play a game of reverse psychology. In any case, I like the Lakers at -3.5. This is not to say I might not play a little action on the ML before game time.
