Well I really like the Blount kid that dropped 41, in the opener which they lost. I don't think Georgia will be able to stop him and it will create matchup problems.

yeah I saw where he put up 40+ but they still lost to a D2 team? Did they have somebody hurt or suspended?

Yea I don't know, I actually really like this game for something that you pointed out. How is a team that lost to D2 team only 6.5 point underdogs on the road. That means on neutral court they would only be +3. Give me a break, I feel like the oddsmakers know something we don't know on this one.

yeah but I dont think average bettors would see that. Plus I dont think most people could back Georgia minus any amount of points over 10.

Really, an SEC school playing a mid-major that just lost to a D2 school. I feel the average bettor would jump on this line at almost any price. I monitor about 4 local books and the action of their players, right now 92% of the money is on Georgia. There is only 2 bets out of 97 on Loyala Chicago. I'm not saying that I am right and you are wrong, cause I have been awful these last 2 weeks but Loyala is my play.

damn dude you've got me scared now, but I've gotta see it play out. Georgia is pretty bad though, you have to factor in how bad they were last year and they lost their 2 leading scorers, idk though

Ga covers here. if they're playing a team that lost to a D2 team
that would be the eqivalant of their scrimmage game agaisnt Albany State ( my hometown black college) a couple weeks ago. GA won by about 30.
seriously though I have no idea who they're playing. But I'd put my money on GA to cover 7 points agaisnt any team that lost to a D2 school first.

Scary line for sure, I bought GA down to -3. Just too hard to pass up and Im sure that wht the oddsmakers intended.

strictly, thats the shadiest shit I've ever seen in my life (Georgia game). Nice call and I think everybody would win more games if we bet the opposite on these "cant miss" lines like Georgia -7

ON all plays today I was 1-7, I don't understand how my stystem has gone so bad and stayed so bad for so long. I took St. Mary's late but did not post as a play so it won't count for this thread. I just hope it hits cause I forgot what it feels like to pick a winner

dont worry about it strictly...you'll get back in no time..just dont lose your confidence. 2 weeks ago you were unstoppable!

what do you think of davidson +5 and cuse -16 tonight? also any thoughts about the unc-ky matchup?

i get that feeling tonight is a going to be a good night of basketball

Lines are very weak right now, focus on teams in your area that you are familiar with and it should be profitable. GL the rest of the year

I thought I would butt in on the Cuse question... Cuse historically struggles with small schools early in the season. This is off the top of my head but I think Siena and Robert something played them very close early on last year. Richmond looks like a decent team, and 16 is a lot of points I think this early for Cuse to cover. It is just my opinion, but yes I would take Cuse if you had to take this game but think there are many better ones to look at...

Mainly Texas and Buffalo... gl

I think you should tinker with your system and emphasize more on current form. Also try to avoid playing teams that did something special in their previous game. For instance, after beating the Lakers, look at the performance the Pistons put up at Suns. You see that so often in many sports. I try to avoid playing teams that did something "extraordinary" in their last game.
If you follow soccer, you'd have seem how Arsenal collapsed against Aston Villa in the EPL after beating Manchester United in their previous game. In the same way, Aston Villa is very likely to lose their home game this weekend against Man Utd by a staggering margin.

True thanks for advice, I have to stick with my model though and just bank on the assumption that it is coming back. Cause I know as soon as I start tinkering and elimnating things that when it will swing back. I do appreciate everyone's insight though. This is just a rough patch, I am just very surprised that the lines have all been so weak for so long.

This is the only way I have found to win during the first month of college hoops. I'm focusing on two conferences right now.

I completely agree... If you focus on a set of teams and follow their style of play, how they do on the road vs at home and injuries, you can make very educated reads on the lines and hopefully it works out....
