Default Rollercoaster Week

Started off the week 8-1 in 2 days and finished with barely making a profit. Good lesson learned I guess. I'm going to start playing just a couple of games a day instead of a full card every day. Only play I have going right now is Western Kentucky +8.5. Might make another play later but wow how disapointing this week has been

My other play is Drake (-6)

Both teams were terrific mid major sleeper teams last year, but Drake did beat Butler by 7 points on the road last year. Looking at who's returning for both squads, I'd give the advantage to Drake as well. Drake returns 2 starters, which includes leading scorer Josh Young (15.9 PPG) and Jonathan Cox (12.3 PPG and 8.5 RPG). On the other hand, Butler only returns 1 starter, sophomore Matt Howard. Howard averaged 12.3 PPG and 5.5 RPG per game. Willie Veasley is the next best when it comes to players returning. He only averaged 4.5 points per game last year. BUTLER RETURNS AROUND 23 POINTS PER GAME FROM LAST YEAR'S TEAM

Very smart to limit your plays in college hoops my friend. There are just way too many to bet on and you can lose your ass quickly by betting too many. Saturdays especially with so many games! Don't feel bad, most of us seem to be a bit sluggish out of the gates. I broke a 4 game losing skid today. 5-5 on the season. I'm trying to stick to 1-3 plays if I really like them. No more.

I'll probably make more plays a day as the season goes in, but its a crap shoot with these large spreads early in the year IMO

True. I just had a frustrating Friday in general. Really started Thursday with the UCLA over missing by a couple points. Had Florida -23 yesterday in a small play, they won by 22. And Georgia State lost by 1 when I had 'em -1.5. Those days test your will.

Had 2 games go into overtime yesterday and lost both of them (both of my teams were covering with around 1 minute left).

I am waiting until January to bet college ball. Its too crazy early on. Teams need time to play together. Maybe I will just do small bets taking only dogs. I hit one like that last year for 5 figures.
