West Virginia/Duke
Duke relies way too much on their outside shooting. I took West Virginia and the points last night. I may even play the moneyline. What are your thoughts?

WVU is almost equally reliant on perimeter shooting. Very similar teams, and Duke has more shooters. WVU has a decent shot of winning this game, but I just don't think there's any value in going against Duke following their close call to Belmont. Athleticism is what will doom Duke in this tourney, not a team that plays the same game like WVU.
I'm passing and hoping Duke and Xavier both win, setting up what would be a huge play for me on X.
Good luck.

Duke is so overrated now. If anyone watched the Belmont game, you'll see what I'm talking about. If WVU can spread Duke out on the perimeter like Belmont, then Duke is in trouble again. If there shots aren't falling, they'll be in more trouble. I agree with you RJT. Even if Duke gets past this game, I don't see them getting past Xavier.

well i think the belmont game is going to light up a flame up their asses...look for nelson to have a reality check and actually contribute tomorrow...plus i wasnt exactly impressed by west virginia's play against arizona...i absolutely hate duke as a team but i cant let emotion play a factor in my plays...as weak as they appear, i dont think west virginia is a better overall team...then again when i made my bracket, i didnt expect the belmont game to be that close either..

belmont and clemson took them apart...but i wouldn't play the wv moneyline...if it's a close game duke will get the calls guaranteed...only taking the pts for me
if you look at duke's last 10 games they've done nothing...going 6-4 and only beat average or below average teams
WINS
st johns
g tech
nc st
virginia
g tech
belmont
no wins vs tourney teams
west virginia has gone 9-3 in last twelve losing 3 games to tourney teams...nova, uconn, gtown

I have a funny feeling Hansbrough won't be wearing a Duke jersey tomorrow. In any case, I'm leaning Duke right now.

I actually ended up playing WVa +4. If your book has less than +4, then I'd play ML.

I think Duke comes out with a vengeance today. I'm not a big Duke lover, but I'm wary about this game.
And, I agree with BOT as well. Coaching advantage: Duke.

tough game for sides so going with over
Like someone said earlier in this post, both are jump shooting teams and we saw with Belmont that Duke's D can be scored on so I am taking the over first half. I think Duke comes out with tons of energy. All year after a poor performance they come out and play really well, maybe their legs are a bit tired but I think the first half they will go over 70.

you would have thought the coaching advantage could help get them more than a 1 pt win vs Belmont...and Huggins is a better coach then who ever coaches Belmont...Duke gave up 70 to Belmont...in fact they've given up 70 or more in 8 of last 10 games...the only two they didn't was vs St John's and G Tech...they simply haven't stopped teams from scoring
