Not me dd11, but I see your point.
I only plan on playing Memphis if I get a better number. If the line stays level I will pass.

Plus lets say Memphis has a big lead at some point of the game and the game has both teams in foul trouble wow memphis went 14/22 from the line tonight not to great anybody can come back on a team that shoots free throws as horrible as Memphis so if they have the lead it is harder for memphis to come back and if they are behind it is harder for Memphis to keep the lead. OSU has more strength down low, leadership, and more clutch players how come everyone is jumping on Memphis because of 2 close games?

No one said it was a lock.
If OSU keeps playing from behind, it will catch up with them eventually. I think Memphis' press will give the Buckeyes problems, and the Tigers have the athletes to give OSU difficulty. Also, I will take Calipari over Matta in a big game any day.

I wasn't on A&M either. Was actually leaning toward Memphis, but didn't pull the trigger.

Tenn giftwrapped a game to OSU....with the same wrapping that Xavier used. Give me a break...Tenn is a team that has no defensive discipline whatsoever and is error prone and lacks any sembelence of offensive continuity. OSU had their handsfull with them in a game they very well could have lost.
Memphis is solid offensively, can play defensive, and can be physical. They have much more balance in thier offense and defensive play. They beat a very very good TXAM team, and they beat a solid Navada team. OSU has looked anything but sharp.
Now keep in mind, Memphis got annihilated by Tenn this year. They lost to Arizona and GT as well. All teams no where near as "good" as OSU and the line opens up as only -2The linesmaker is telling you all you need to know about who they expect to win this game because they know the public is going to hammer OSU and they are welcoming OSU action on this game.
Not saying they are going to win....OSU could very well win by 30...I wouldn't be suprised but all I'll say is Memphis is undoubtedly the sharp side in this game. Take it for what it is worth....

Thanks Fellows.....
I am also going to add #661 Texas A&M -3
I can't for the life of me find a reason to play Memphis.....everything points toward TXAM so I'll take them.
Buddybear these are your exact words earlier today about the A&M game tonight.......youve done a complete 180 on memphis now they have all this ability???

I was just going over the match up, and think Memphis should be the favorite in this game, so I'm going to take the value that I think sits with Memphis +2/2.5.

No.....Ddowns. You are sadly mistaken cause you are comparing multiple things here.. My comments in that post were in regard to Memphis' matchup with Texas AM. This has nothing to do with the Memphis/OSU matchup. They are separate. If TXAM played Memphis again....everything still holds true for my analysis.
My comments in this thread deal with Memphs/OSU. Sorry if there was some miscommunication...my comments pertain to the matchup and the opening number. Again....TXAM/Memphis matchup is now irrelevant. Time to moveo on....
Again....OSU has the potential to blow Memphis out I concede that but given the circumstances and developing situation I think Memphis is a stronger play for a number of reason as I listed. They matchup well with OSU a lot better than Tenn since Memphis actually plays defense....

i know i understand all the buddybear, and im not just getting over you about it. I'm just pointing out in reference to what i said earlier about how many people thought the same thing about texas A&M tonight as is being said about Memphis now. That the sharp pick is A&M and that it seems like the only reasonable play. That's all im trying to point out

Just a FYI, I had Memphis +3.5, and felt they were the only play in that game today.

Left one spot and went to another, when I left it was halftime, when I got there, it was 72-68 OSU, was expecting the 6 point victory to end the day in misery, lol.

You might as well take the opponents ML the rest of the way. You've got plenty of room to get to 30 units...
