    College Basketball Betting System

This thread is to track 2 different College Basketball Systems for the remaining of the regular season. Some of you may already be familiar with these systems. If these systems are new to you they are easy to follow with excellent past results. Below is both systems defined and the overall records thus far for January. I will post all the plays SU and ATS for both systems in this thread.

    System #1
Play ON any unranked team that is favored at home over a ranked team. The lines used to determine if there are any plays will be the opening line which means you need to receive the line on or as close as you can to the opening line. Don't worry if you can't get the opening line as all of the results for January below would have covered through the closing line.

    System #2
FADE the home teams in their next game if they did cover the point spread against the ranked team whether they are home or away. Again, we will use the opening line for record tracking purposes.

I back tested both systems for the month of January (01/01-01/20) and the results are as follows.

    System #1
    ATS: 6-0
    SU: 6-0

    System #2
    ATS: 5-1
    SU: 6-0

As of today there are no pending system #2 plays so we can start with any system #1 plays for Saturday, 01/22/2011 in which it appears there should be at least one play. FYI, I did play a similar system for the College Football season and the results did not provide alot of plays but it did provide a overall record of 9-1.

If Vanderbilt is the favorite on Saturday at home versus Saint Mary's CA then Vanderbilt will be a play ON team.

Hey sin. System #2 is a automatic fade whether home or away. Of course we are fading only if the team covers the spread in system #1.

Very good for January thus far. As we all know any system we use will correct itself eventually meaning we know it won't remain undefeated. If anyone would like I can post all the previous plays with the point spreads for the month of January to help solidify the record I posted.

What poll are you using? AP, ESPN/USA Today?

The AP is the only poll to use with this system. (Same as NCAAF)

Yeah there is absolutely no capping with these plays. It is strictly a system style of wagering/tracking. Upon back testing back a few years the ATS results for system #1 have about a 65% win rate and with system #2 maybe slightly higher. System #1 ML wagers are mostly favorites which require laying juice and system #2 ML plays are mostly underdogs which of course give us a better payout.
