Exclamation *Thursday & Friday* Tournament ML Parlay and Discussion thread. Best thread on SBR!!

Alright ladies and gentleman.. This is thread where it all goes down for the Thursday and Friday Tournament Games..

We mostly discuss MLs and parlays but nothing is ever forbidden here. I think the first round will offer ample opportunity for us to make some damn good coin. I want to see all the original cats here and a few new cats as well.

Good Luck my people, may all your buzzer beaters be winning ones.

Remember this is going to be a two day thread because I know many of us are going to connect teams from Thursday to Friday..

You're a big part of this thread b..

BTW #1 seeds have never lost so putting them in ML parlays will take off free cents..

Notre Dame ML over Mason? Mason isn't beating ND

Just going off point spreads a couple of small Underdog ML's that may be good are Gonzaga, St Mary's, and St Joseph's. And two that may be a little risker are Siena and South Alabama.

You don't think? Notre Dame relies too much on the 3 to think their safe IMO and Mason defends pretty well. I think that could be a dangerous one.

    Just my thoughts

what up guys, imgv.... i was under the impression 1 v 16 games wont have a ML as the spreads will be in the 20's possibly as high as 30?

    Here is my strategy....

if possible, try to make two plays....

    the four 2 seeds

and the four 3 seeds on a smaller play....

i have the statistics on this somewhere, but in 23 yrs.... a 2 seed has only lost twice i believe, and in the same time span a 3 seed has only lost a handful of times.....

and with the field we are looking at i dont see a 2 or a 3 going down here.....

last year in the first round, no 1 through 4 seeds lost in the first round, so that means any ML parlay using any 1 through 4 seeds was a winner.... let's cash this guys....

also, 1 seeds are not really usuable in the first round, however, in 23 years they almost have a perfect record in the second round as well, so all four 1 seeds together in one play in the second round is a near definite winner and a much more plausible play as the spreads will be around 10 points or so when they each face an 8 or 9 seed....

can you tell i am excited, i have had this idea since last year specifically for this tourney, so i am amped up for the lines to come out....

    what's everyone else got going?

I found a teaser I think I like......Washington State is not a team that can bury opponents, and Winthrop can play some pretty solid D (I believe top ten in the nation points against per game, yes mind you in a weak conference).....

    Winthrop +13.5
    St. Joe's +6.5
Oklahoma looked pretty flat last time out. The Sooners might win straight up but I really think this one stays very close. I like this St Josephs team late this year and I'm hoping that second half abortion against Temple was just an little squelch.

Just a lean right now and certainly open to criticism. Have only looked real close at about 12 games or so.

Whoops sorry wrong thread mods will you move this to imgv's ML and discussion thread? Sorry.

    thanks bro....

sucks the two seeds are way high too, but here is what i got so far that seems as safe as safe comes:

    Wiscy
    Pitt
    UConn
    LVille

    should pay at about -120

and i would say has about a 85-90% chance of cashing

NBA has been much kinder to me than the NCAA as of late...I have honestly never even paid attention to the tourney before but it seems like March is a whole new beast when it comes to capping games.

nice one MR fresh, that play would pay at +129

even if u take out one team, except for wazzou and ND it would still pay at least even money or better

Yeah all should win but before i play ND i really need to research Georgemason. The rest should win I'll probably put a couple of units on that play.

i've got a unique play here, Portland State +25.5

i like kansas a lot in this tourny, considering all the paths they might have the easiest of all the 1 seeds. however portland state is a team of seniors playing the WHOLE careers for this one shot in the tourny.. do i think they have a chance NO but i will say that its hard to beat a team by more than 25 in this tournament because you want to rest your studs if the games in hand with 3 or 4 to go. Kansas will win easily so you dont have to worry about free throws down the stretch or fouling or any of that stuff that kills spreads. Take Portland State and the big fluffy 25 1/2 that goes along with it.

seems pretty solid, as long as the team can hit shots, i mean kansas cant score for them, if kansas jumps out to a 30 to 4 run, you really dont have to worry about a back door cover, you gotta worry that the weaker team cant keep up from that point while the game is still young, but i like it
