Apparently nobody wants to claim that 8 spot from Florida, Dan. If the Gators win against Vandy, then you need to become a bigtime Pitt supporter against a tough Marquette team. If Pitt manages to lose that game then Florida has the lock on number 8, because the next closest team that has a chance to be up that high is GW and they won't get enough respect to be placed over the Gators.

The Texas loss could be the difference. They will no longer receive their first place vote and that will hurt their total points. Overall they could slide down to 9 with Florida receiving the 8 position and Pitt moving up to 7.
