Oh alright man cool I understand that. So then how do you calculate how good the payout is going to be? I mean do you do something like add 102 and 108 so 210 divided by 2 and some crazy math forumla or what?
what is in your opinion the best way to play parlays? I did a 5 team one last night I had 2 ML and 3 spreads it worked out but wondering if better to do like 2 ML and 1 spread or 2 spreads and 2 ML or what
a lot of factors matter..like if you play ML parlays you will win more if you pick 3 teams -500 each then 3 teams -700...taking 4 teams instead of 3 totally increases your payoutOriginally Posted by MoneySportsGuy

also not sure if this makes sense, but does your odds increase in a parlay like if you have one team needs to cover by like 14 and another has to only cover by like 2? or does the number not matter?
the following is a chart regarding parlays ...lets say all picks had an even money line you would get the following:
2 teams pays 13:5
3 teams pays 6:1
4 teams pays 10:1
5 teams pays 20:1
This is why taking 4 heavy favorites can get you decent money..the amount of teams makes up for the heavy chalk you pay on taking the money line instead of ATS. Hope this isn't confusing...for me, it's easier to cap games looking for ML winners...in college ball especially.

Spurs just looked good last night ( First good game in a couple weeks) Thinking there going to keep up the same pace with a heat team short 2 big guys in the middle. I can see D Wade trying to keep the score close. But Parker and Ginobili should be able to drive to the hoop at will ( with no shaq or morning ) The heat are just bad this year with injuries and no good team chemistry. All Your picks look good

thanks guys...two I'm working on is Denver at home vs Nets...not sure yet how I'll play them...it will be the Nets 5th road game in 7 days...just finished having to run all game long vs Warriors and will have to do it again in Denver vs a rested Nugget team...also taking Niagara on the road...they lost their last game by only shooting 27% first game all year they've shot so low and Fisher...the second leading scorer in the country at 26.9 pts a game was held under 20 for the first time all year...Niagara is 11-6 St Peters is 4-14...Niagara's top 3 scorers avg 26.9 15.2 12.3 St. Peters top 3 avg 13.1 12.3 10.4

Cleveland will be short-handed for this matchup because Sasha Pavlovic sprained his left foot in the third quarter Wednesday and could miss up to two months. He's averaging 7.3 points and has started 35 games this season.
His absence leaves the Cavs without one of their better perimeter players against the up-tempo Suns (30-13), who lead the NBA with 110.0 points per game. Plus losing to the T Wolves has to bring them in here motivated to get back on track...

ok here are plays I'm doing today...I know you'll think I'm nuts but I'm teasing San Diego vs St Marys...San Diego after this game goes on the road for 3 games...St Marys after this one comes home for 3 games after this one...last game San Diego shot like crap only 34% vs Santa Clara but won. St Marys is the team everyone in the conference will be up for and try to beat and knock out of the top 25.
Santa Clara is better than San Francisco..they shoot 49% and San Francisco gives up 47% and gets out rebounded by 2 boards per game at home,so teasing to get plus points is a bonus
Pacific will win, it's just by how much...they shoot 49% Cal Poly only 41% Pacific 8-1 at home and out rebounds pps 6 boards there and Cal Poly 2-8 on the road and gets out rebounded by over 6 boards a game on the road.
I like App St as well...just shot 39% and gave up 56% in their last game..their worst performance after 7 straight wins..I see a full rebound and nice game coming..especially after losing to Elon by 1 pt at home last year...they will be motivated and will not overlook Elon.
