SIU played like shit, but had crazy rebounds and lot of ref calls on their side. Made the game interesting. Bring on UCLA. I think we almost have a better shot against them, than Pitt.

I seem to recall a slam dunk after the shot clock went off for KU early in that game laker. I know it's only 2 points and all, but that could have been a big factor towards the end of that game.

Yea good cover horrible play overall by kansas every time down they where handing the ball over to SIU what about Texas A&M giving the game away missing two easy breakaway layups.

SIU got screwed on the calls not Kansas. The shot clock violation by KU in the first half was obvious, and there was a goaltending on KU in the second half that resulted in a fould and two made free throws by SIU but could have been an and 1. The guy grabbed the freaking rim while the ball was on the backboard, how do you miss that?

and how can you say SIU played like shit they took what many people were calling the best team left in the field to the wire. maybe they didnt play offensively that well, but that's not what they are known for. Did you see the defense they played for gods sakes. This game easily could have gone the other way

Fan of Magic Johnson era when I was a kid (I sort of chose the name at random and over 15,000 posts across different forums later am sticking with it). Went to KU, live near Lawrence.

Dlbdown, I dont' really disagree with what you said, but I guess I was overwhelmed by how bad SIU was on offense. I am not saying KU looked good in this game or had no chance of losing; for more than half the game I thought they would lose.
