Vandy just beat UT by 9 in Knoxvegas. Are you seeing revenge or what? I think these 2 teams match up about as even as any 2 can. Homecourt isn't that advantageous for Vandy with UT either. That big hour and a half trek down I40 don't really take alot out of the vols! LoL!!!

I agree with you. I'm always about taking the better ranked team with better record when giving up a couple or three, Like Kansas last night. But here the better ranked team is getting 3.5! & they just got embarrased at home by the hillbilly ivy league. Or as I like to call them, Rebel YALE

take vandy at home--commodes got upstaged by the bulldogs so they will get it back tonight-Vandy is a weird place to play and away teams take awhile to get used to the floor and boards--gl

Ogilvy could be a big-time matchup problem for Tennessee IMHO.

Vandy tough at home and Tennessee unpredictable. Take the home team Vandy minus the short number.

Vandy seems like an easy call at -3. They almost never lose at home and Tennessee has no depth right now. I actually think Vandy looks almost TOO easy, and I am wavering on whether or not I'll play them.

Tenn is so inconsistent, hard to tell who is going to show up... safe play is obviously vandy, but gotta hunch Tennessee shows up on super tuesday

I agree Vandy almost looks too easy -3 at home but I gotta lean with Vandy at home.

I hate this tennessee team more than any college bball team that has ever been. I have a rule not to bet on them because when I do they lay down, when I bet against them they hit turn around half court shots all day.

    That being said.....Vandy rolls.

I am passing, I hate the fact that the line went to 2.5 at Pinny.

Vandy won by 9 at Tennessee, so that does seem to be a red flag.

I just think non-squares might be out-thinking themselves here. This Vandy team, while inconsistent at times, is very dangerous.

They can be inconsistent but the georgia game will wake them up and this is Knoxville v.s. Nashville. THEY WILL BE FIRED UP, and like someone said this is such a weird gym.

Anybody who bets on Tennessee is retarded, this will be easier than KU was yeterday.

Well judging by your avatar you arent going to hear me, but how can you NOT see why someone would hate this team. Did you watch the LSU game. Biggest waste of talent I have ever seen. Bruce Pearl and the Athletic Director should be fired. Wayne Chism and JP Prince have the worst attitude that has ever been on a college basketball court.

Tyler Smith did his dad proud (who passed away in a documented story) by getting kicked off the team.

How is the team a waste of talent? What have they done since they beat memphis to become number 1 a few years ago? NOTHING. They lost the next game. They werent even that good with smith on the team. Even when they had lofton raining 3s I knew they were going no where.

Did you see the LSU game? They literally had 2 inches on every guy and wayne chism had a HUGE advantage down low. They only posted wayne up downlow a handful of times and scored every time then come back down the court and fire a 40 footer. It comes down to its bruce pearl and the AD who just dont get it. These kids honestly make me sick to my stomach.

I'm assuming you bet on Tenn that game. I'd say its a little harsh to criticize the #12 team in the country like that. They did beat Kansas (the best team in the country), without their 4 best players, something no one else can claim. And that had nothing to do with Pearl?

The bet has nothing to do with it, I won money on them I have lost money on them. They shot lights out in the kansas game and kansas played like shit. If you think they are really a top 12 team I feel bad for you and you really dont know anything. What makes them so good? And spare me they lost half their team. The replacements are the EXACT same players. Smith wasnt that good, he was more concerned with how cool his tattoos looked.

    What offense do they run?

From what I've seen, it's a form of the flex (with lots of cutting). I also didnt know skylar mcbee is the same player as tyler smith. walk-ons must have the same value as late first round picks.
And how come no one else has been able to shoot the lights out on Kansas?

I really like Vandy in this spot for the following reasons:

    1. They just beat the Vols in convincing fashion on the road

    2. They are unbeaten at home, I believe 11-0

    3. Vols are too inconsistent, especially on the road

    4. Vols only average 61 PPG on the road while Vandy averages over 84 PPG at home

    5. The Vols are just flat out stupid and I will bet they will do at least a handful of things tonight that make you WTF if you are backing them.

My only concern is that the line has dropped a 1/2 point from 3 to 2.5, but feel that is do to the name game.

I'll take my chances with the better club tonight and lay the short number.
