    Default Georgetown -4

I think this is the best play for Tuesday night. This is always a tough conference to handicap but Providence is coming off three straight conference losses and Georgetown has been playing somewhat consistent given there strength of schedule. Any thoughts?

i like gt. after what they did this weekend and how prov got beat at home in a shoot out game, i don't think they can hang with gt. -4 sounds like a gift to me.

No possibility of a letdown after their huge win on Saturday?

it wasn't a huge win for gt, it was a huge lose for nova. gt just did what they normally do.

Beating a probable one seed by 13 on the national stage is a big win. They played a similar game against Duke a week and a half ago.. national spotlight at home against the number seven (at the time) team in the country and came away with a huge win. Next game? Huge flop against South Florida. I'm not guaranteeing anything.. just saying I'm a little wary.

My crystal ball is still a little cloudy on this one. My gut says G'town. Historically speakin' that means take Prov LoL!!!

Comparing the offensive output of PROV at home is a factor, seeing how that number is around 80 ppg.

I think either team has a good chance to win. If I had to pick this match up I would say GTOWN ML but considering this is a team that lost to OLD DOMINION, and crushed VILLANOVA-- I really don't see GTOWN trustworthy enough to go in on.

getting close to nutcutting time(64 tourney) hoyas can give this 1 up and not be affected--friars need this 1 bad--so they will play like a team possessed--whether it will be good enough who knows-- but i will take the 4-/at home at the monastery--gl

I was susprised this line was so low. Really was expecting at least -8.

    Definitely on Georgetown

One game where you shoot the lights out from the 3p arc does not make your reliable. Especially on National TV vs. a Top 5 team (nova)

The sharp money is on Prov. and the points.

sharp money this late in season is deceiving, some teams have no incentive to play, GT prob wins by 10+

reminds me of the shadiness that was wisconsin pk @ michigan, wisky won by 18

I like it if Providence wasn't such a manic team.

Leaning gtown but might be a no play for me. I thought the line would be higher. Plus gtown played 2 huge national games one would question if they will be up for this game.

Providence might be a little hungrier for this one. They're not horrible as they beat UCONN at home, who almost beat G'town at G'town. I'm leaning G'town but not sure it is the lock that everyone may think

Id be real suprised if G'Town couldnt cover 4 @ Provience.

Just like Kansas @ Texas. G'Town is to deep to talented

Tourney seeds are still up for grabs and georgetown can still achieve a 2 slot. To say this game doesn't mean as much to them is silly. Providence is cooked unless they win the Big East tourney. A loss here would look horrible to the selections committee for Georgetown. I don't believe in locks but this is a generous line for a much better squad.

Side note: colorado st giving 2 look good to anyone else?

How people didnt jump on the over in that game over charleston or citadel is insane. My local had it at 129, it was 132 for the most part around but charleston covers like 150 over unders every game. This was an easy one.

anyone else think the georgetown/providence total is inflated due to georgetowns 100 point game against nova?

Yes, but Providence is the home team and isn't shy about the fact that they play zero defense.

I look for GT to run away with this game here. Maybe not with the crazy amount of 3's, but Wright will bounce back. I'm hoping to see a lot of two-man stuff with Monroe tonight. Plus you add in Freeman's 20 a game, and this one spells 2nd half blowout.

    GL everyone!!

Providence wins tonight--and a couple of more wins and they are in the dance--think for a sec why do you think the hoyas are favored only 4-///4 now--this game will be close--blow out at the monastery ask uconn
