Default Lock of the night 2/8..

New Mexico State -2 vs La Tech.

Why on earth is La Tech a popular pick tonight?? I dont even care THAT much that NMSU blew them out at their own place. NMSU did shoot very well in that game. Bottom line is though, in this calendar year, Tech only has 3 road wins, Boise State, Idaho and Hawaii, the bottom 3 teams in the WAC, their conference records combine for a whopping 7-23. The only team with a winning record, that they traveled to was San Jose State (12-11), they got beat by 11 that game. In NMSU's last 4 home games, they beat conference leader Utah State, lost to Nevada by 10, beat San Jose State by 11 and Fresno by 9. In that loss to Nevada, Nevada shot 31 or 59 from the field 52.5 %, and 9 of 20 from 3 point land. NMSU held La Tech to just 5 of 27 from three in there first meeting, 40 percent shooting overall, and dropped 91 points on them in their own place. NMSU is going to win this game, and it might be by double digits, take them -2 as the lock of the night.

already took it, love the game...but seriously dude, can we not use the word "lock". it's annoying, and poses bad karma. a lot of gambling can invole some luck, and using that word is bad luck. and as mentioned above, it usually leads to a loss.

Yea, senseless to use that word. Nothing is a lock. Nothing. Make yourself look simple when/if it doesnt come through. Nothing wrong with just saying you like the pick. I liked NMst to but youre running me off of it. Damn!

Good call Ranx777....I am taking Kansas (-2) @ Texas tonight and NMSU (-1.5) at home both to cover.

I already won the Deleware (-3) bet at home thanks to a tip I got from a buddy of mine.
