Default Alert: Sharps are all over Cincy

Honestly, I can't figure out why this is, since 'Cuse looks a million times better to me, but just so everyone knows, 70% to 80% of the public is on 'Cuse, and the line still moved down from -5 to -4.

    Scary.

I always jump on those RLM plays, but I can't figure out how Cincy stays with 'Cuse here.

Syracuse is due a loss. Cincinnati needs a win. Some of it probably also is due to Wesley Johnson's injury, although I see he will play.

Cuse -4 looks tempting, but the math says that the line is right. It's a no-play for me.

Cuse wins and covers! The books are only toying with public psychology.

I don't think it's that at all. The books are interested in money, not psychology. The line did what it did because there was big money coming in on Cincy to even out all the public money.

Cincinnati got off to a hot start, but Syracuse will pull away in the second half.

this was a no brainer for me, and Im not saying this because the game is over. Syracuse plays nothing other than a 2-3 zone. Cinncy has NO 3 POINT SHOOTERS. There was no way Cinncy was gonna dominate this game down low with AO, Johnson, and Rick Jackson. Syracuse forced them to shoot from the outside to win and that just aint happening with this Cinncy team. Syracuse has only lost 1 away game this year ATS, and that was Depaul. This team is for real and should be ranked #2 behind Kansas. I agree, they are due for a loss, just wasn't gonna happen against this team. The sharp's are wrong alot of times, and sometimes you have to go with pure knowledge and matchups. This was the case today!

Sometimes it's hard to know what the sharp is betting on. Vegas plays mind games sometimes and move lines half point in one direction or another i think to misguide the public. if vegas allows us to read lines with 100 percent accuracy it would not be counterproductive. this is not inside info just my deduction.
