Default VERY Late Night Bailout game

Fresno State (11-12, 4-5 conf) against Hawaii (9-13, 2-7 conf) in a 1:05 AM est tip! Fresno St has had all sorts of trouble on the road losing all 4 of their conference games on the road (2-8 road rec) while Hawaii is the classic team to bet against for the last game of the night. The Warriors came in @ 1 pt favorites, was @ 1/2 pt earlier. I have a lean towards Hawaii, but nothing is set yet as there is alot of time before tip. Weigh in with your thoughts fellas.

I am thinking Hawaii as well. Don't really think that Fresno is all that great, plus the trip out to the island accounts for more home court than usual.

Guys, don't kid yourselves. There is no point in betting this game other then its start time. If you are down, live to fight another day. Go to sleep, wake up to a full card. None of you have seen Hawaii play enough and none of you have seen Fresno play enough. Simply looking at box scores won't cut it. Everyone always tries to be "sharp" and overestimate the Hawaii home court advantage. Just do yourselves a favor and pump the brakes.

No need for an unnessecary loss at 3 AM.

I'll be hammered by this time. If for some reason I'm around a computer at this time I'll throw a small drunk bet on it.

No way man, it's late night fun with people. Like the New Mexico St/Hawaii game a couple weeks ago, I enjoyed that to death. Plus, I'm actually having a GREAT day for once.

Then enjoy, just don't try to talk yourself into seeing this as a profitable game. As long as your doing it just for the enjoyment I can't argue with you.

I have to agree with GiveMe. This is a tossup. Never know how Hawaii or the visiting team will play when the game is on the island. If youre having a good day keep it that way. If youre having a bad day dont make it worse. If you play on it, bol!

I like Hawaii in this spot. Not only are they playing at home but they also have been looking better as a team. Dwain Williams has been out the last 5 games so his loss as a suspended player will not effect the game. Hiram Thompson is their main point guard (and main ball handler) and with him on the court, Hawaii doesn't turn the ball over as much as w/o. He won't be 100% due to a shoulder injury but is expected to play. Conversely, Paul George won't be playing for Fresno.

    http://sports.honoluluadvertiser.com...+match+up+well

"Fresno State's loss is even more significant. All-WAC candidate Paul George is expected to miss his fourth consecutive game due to an ankle injury.
The 6-foot-8 sophomore wing leads the Bulldogs in scoring (17.0 points per game), rebounding (7.3 per game), steals (51) and free-throw percentage (.880)...

One advantage Fresno State has is a WAC victory over Hawai'i already in its pocket. The Bulldogs beat the 'Bows, 78-64, on Jan. 9 in Fresno, Calif.
George had 21 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals in that game...

Fresno State scored 59 and 49 in double-digit road losses at Idaho and Boise State, respectively, last week.
Hawaii only lost by 6 as double digit dogs against Nevada the last game they played and looked fairly good. Fresno is 1-3 ATS without George and Hawaii is 2-3 ATS without Williams. Hawaii at home or no play for me (of course this is not even close to being game of the day/week/or year).

Missing that 6'8" stallion is really gonna make Fresno more vulnerable.

Hawaii is getting a lot scrappier lately. Persistent.
Win or lose, you can expect them to give 100% tonight.

    Let's see....

    Pinny has Fresno State -1
    SIA has Hawaii -1
    Bodog has Hawaii -1
    Wager Street has Hawaii -1

Books are taking sides on this one. I'll side with the one who has the highest limits and smallest juice. They should be the most confident with their lines.

    Lets go Bulldogs!!!
