Kinda weird that this line is so low. Marquette is a far superior team. Their road record isnt spectacular but thats because all their losses are to Top 10 teams on the road besides Depaul which was a fluke in itself because Depaul eventually needed a win and it just happened to be against Marq.

The reasoning behind this line is that Marquette is only 1-5 on the road this year. Plus the lost to DePaul while Providence beat DePaul by 13 points. Jamine Peterson is expected to have a huge game for the Friars also.

That being said I think this will be a 2-3 point game and come down to the final minutes.

They dont have a good road record because these are the teams theyve played on the road:

Villanova- Lost by 2
Syracuse- Lost by5
West Virginia- Lost by 1
Wisconsin
Depaul

Like I said Depaul was a ticking time bomb. They lost like 24 straight Big East games at that point. They werent going to break that streak on the road. Their win finally came against Marquette. That game means nothing.

Providence is so bad defensively it is not even funny. Marquette's road losses all have come to top 25 teams minus Depaul. (Wisconsin, WVU, NOVA, CUSE). Take Marquette to the bank boys.

that board by hayward was huge...and the free throws....friars did a horrible job of setting up a shot there...they had 13 seconds and the look was horrible....marquette did the right thing by putting pressure on the inbounds
