Napier will be drafted barring injury or legal issue because the NBA drafts are weak these days

The kid is hot. He'll cool down when Florida handles him. He ain't going anywhere in the NBA. Just a short turd.

The NBA gives two shits about numbers kids put up in college. All they do is draft on potential which is why a flawed player like Tyler Ennis will go before someone like Shabazz. They don't like seniors generally. Late 1st round is where he was before the tournament. Scouts already knew his game.

I dont understand all the love for Ennis, Im sure when the season started he wasnt even thinking about coming out. He played poised, more like a sophomore or junior but I dont see him as a lottery pick or really 1st round right now, but drafts always draft dumb so.

He's a true PG, floor general. Tough to find in the NBA so that pushes you up on the draft boards but his body isn't NBA ready.

    Ennis is wise to go

His stock could never be higher. If he stayed I'd bet he would fall toward the end of the first round at best

What does he do thats special any decent pg can play for Cuse their sets are elementary. I like him, his poise and steadiness, but he doesnt really wow in a particular category, he's certainly not better than Napier.

Napier will be 23 by the start of his nba career

    That means everything

Exactly, nothing. Its just the stage, everybody sees Cuse play, if Ennis played for Delaware we wouldnt be having this debate.

Agreed, he really has to go, it's a weak PG class. Think he would fall as well if he stayed.

I agree with ya somewhat man, he doesn't have any elite talent but he's a rare commodity just as a true PG in a weak class. Plus, he has tons of room for improvement. His shot is solid and can be refined plus his finishing at the basket is alright but not NBA level at the moment.

I sure wouldn't waste a high draft pick on him. Just one of many small guards with great college careers who did nothing in the NBA. Like Bobby Hurley, Mugsey Bogues and so on. Lets talk after the Florida game because the Gators are not losing to UCONN twice this year. They got Lucky and beat them by 1 the last time they played.

Talking about how a guy with a so-so game right now is the best PG to draft is simply why the NBA sucks balls.

If I was the Heat I would snatch him up at 30.31.32. He would be a really good fit. He can see the floor very well, clearly has NBA range, clearly has demonstrated he can shoot over much taller opponents. (hey dawson how was that). Hes got IT. GMs also like who he was coached by. Ainge has been at ALOT of UConn games recently, don't be surprised if the Cs snatch Bazz. In the NBA bazz wouldn't need to put the team on his back which will translate 2 a lot less end of the shot clock threes or stupid shots/turnovers. Kids got a career somewhere... he was 3rd overall pick in the PR league draft for Christ sake

    Yes.

People think MCW is good because he puts up numbers but he really sucks.

He was garbage in college, the nba, play lot of minutes, put up a lot of bad shots = superstar

His court presence, basketball IQ, etc. etc. is the highest I have seen in a college player in as far as I can remember.

His age, 23, is not a factor. I am positive he can have a serious impact on a team. If he is to slip to a team in the 20-30 range He could potentially start for the Heat next year.

He has been FLAWLESS against high level competition

I didnt think much of Shane Larkin especially to be drafted as high as he was, funny how the media can hype someone then dumb GMs draft them. Napier is better than him by quite a bit IMO.
