Miami are a mere 11-point favorite here. Is there any reason known to anyone why Miami won't win this by over 20 points?

no reason at all, I actually locked this line in last night when i saw it at -10. Miami will roll over Tulane.
I think the line is off, probably because it's so early in the season, the lines will catch up soon, so pound those low spreads while they are offered!
Villanova is pretty low too...

Nova -14.5
Kansas State -14.5
Penn State -11
Miami -10
UNC -2
Phoenix Suns -6 (NBA obviously)

good luck wilforth! glad to see your on the same picks too! but i dont think that UNC line is fishy, people are over thinking that game. ohio is good, yea yea yea, they are returning 5 starters, yea yea yea...those 5 starters for ohio werent good enough to sit the bench at UNC! thats what people are forgeting. UNC's starters this year were good enough to start for any other team last year, so the fact that it's a newer unit doesnt scare me.
let's not forget, these guys played together last year when the starters got benched when games were blowouts....which i'm pretty sure happened more than once.

UNC -2 Scares me. they are a young and untested (though very gifted) team. This is their first game against a ranked competitor. I particularly see problems in the Larry Drew/Evan Turner matchup. UNC still probably has more talent, and definitely a size advantage, but i think Ohio State has a better chance at winning this outright. UNC will be the better team further along in the season, and i would be all over this if this game was a month or two for now. BUT- i am a heels fan so just for fun i took the bet. (i have to admit that right? even if i dont really have faith in it). I cant bet against the heels, but this will be a better matchup than just a 'gift.' still, BOL to us and GO HEELS!
