First game of the day Thursday at :
11:30 AM E.T. : Dayton vs. Georgia Tech (pick'em)

- Dayton is ranked 3 spots higher in the preseason rankings over Georgia Tech at #18 to tech's #21. Both of these teams will be playing in Puerto Rico in San Jaun at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico. Both Lawel and Shampert of Georgia Tech performed well in their previous game in which they won 59-100. However that was versus a much easier opponent. Georgia Tech started of 2008 season going 5-0 and Dayton started off going 21-2 in the season and lost 1 out of 3 games vs. ranked opponents in the top #25.
pick: Dayton has played much better teams and have beaten them more than Georgia tech....Dayton has Chris Wright and Chris Johnson at forward and gaurd respectively who both combined went 16 for 27 and had 43 points between the two.

1:30 P.M. E.T. : Tulane vs. Miami (FL) -10.5

- Tulane was known last year to stay close to reasonable tough teams, but they lost their first game by double digits and they are facing a tough miami team with good rebounding and high scoring. Miami is 2-0 to begin the season and the -10.5 line is about 6-8 points lower than i thought the line should be. if the line was -16 i think i would take Tulane +16....but the -10.5 is very low to me....

2:00 P.M. E.T.: George Mason vs. Villanova (15) -15

- This line seems to be as well lower than i would have expected..i expected a -20 to -22 line on Villanova that way almost 50/50 action for the books.... Villanova is averaging 93.5 points in their first 2 games. George Mason won both their first 2 games at home and averaged 68 points in those 2 games. Villanova gave up an average of 63 in their first 2 games....this is a clear cut pick:

Montana +4.5 vs Denver

It is just beyond me how a team with the second worst rebounding in college basketball is favored here. they are averaging THREE offensive rebounds PER GAME this season. I guess denver gets the nod because they are at home, but i dont think that will matter in this contest. Montana is a good road team going 4-1 ATS their last five dating back to last season. take the points and play on montana.

With Stephen Curry leaving Davidson and the 3 seniors on the team who are left losing by 11 to butler, this team is gonna be short in terms of height vs. South Florids'a tall big forwards and center. South Florida performed well in their first 2 games and covered ATS. This is a no brainer....

Rider has put up 86 and 88 in their last 2 games and out-rebounded their opponents in each win. Virginia lost their last game to a much tougher opponent only putting up 49 points to South Florida Univ. There only win comes to Longwood who are currently 0-3 on the year. This is more of a gut feeling pick that Rider outright wins this game based on their last 2 performances.

Richmond -5.5 vs. William & Mary
Richmond is 2-0 as William & Mary is 0-2. Their losses include a triple overtime loss by 2 points to Harvard. In both games they have played they have averaged before overtime around 60 points. Richmond has put up over 80 in both wins. Team normally who just come off more than 1 overtime losses usually are exhausted and do not do very well, however William & Mary has had 5 days of rest from the triple overtime loss. Richmond has looked very good in past years and looks good to start off this year......i like richmond a lot here.

Syracuse has 2 wins and has put up an avg of 87.5 per game in their first 2 which in includes a 100 point game in their last win. Cal has put up an avg. of 85 with a 95 point win in their last game. But first things first. The Bears will have to contend with Syracuse’s stingy zone defense and big, physical players at every position. I like Syracuse to win this game in Madison Square Garden.

well i dont like 5 dimes bc they dont do bank wires for new players...they told me u need to be there for over 6 months and have at least 3 succesful deposits inorder to do wire payouts.....i hate checks and going to banks and dealing with the stupid idiots who work there.....i never touch my $ anyways other than for small things like food and daily things so I have no need to go to the bank to begin with. Both of these teams have blown out thier opponents....both teams have averaged +25 point wins in their first 2 games and face worse teams than their first 2 wins....both will BE HUGE BLOWOUTS! If you feel the 27.5 is too much to take tease both games to make it -10.5 and -22.5...those are almost locks!
