HoulihansTX's --- Money is a Motivator --- (NCAAB '09-'10)
I will be tracking two different systems

*CBB Math Model*
--- Its uses pure math to determine the proper line on a game. If the computer line is substantially different than the current line, its a play.
*CBB Angles System*
--- Its uses a sports database that dates back 6+ years, which includes stats and trends.

--- I'm going to bet a select few games from these systems, but will be posting all of the games that come up. I'm not trying to sell yall on to something. There are too many teams to track in CBB. So I have enlisted the help of some systems that my friend recommended.
I say we see how this goes, and make a judgment after seeing some early results
The plays are not rated when sent to me, and there is no explanation either. I will show which games I'm betting by giving them color.

The ones that are colored, I wagered money one them. But all of the listed teams are plays under the system, but I'm not going to wager money on every play that is released to me.
The ones you listed are the ones I liked enough to play. Noticed they are colored.

I assume that the math model is based on statistics, right? Probably an emphasis on current stats. If so, that may explain the early record of that model. Not much data to work with this early in the season.

Exactly. Like most systems both will become stronger as the season goes on. I'm only playing certain games, the colored ones, and will track this the whole season.
Check back in later in the season, and we will see if the systems bring success. Seems like darts at a board right now.

In previous years I have also run a stats/math system to help in my college basketball capping. I've learned not to even break it out until I get 6-10 games worth of data. It's just too unreliable early. I'll be following and hopefully we'll see improvement in the next month or so.

i had ucla -15.5 too! they didnt report ucla players got super drunk today beforegame!! i got a friend who practices bball at the john madden court during the days and he said he saw them drinking.....so not good!! also ucla had like 3 starters out due to offseason injuries..i wish iwoulda knew ...got a text 30 min. ago about those two things.....looks llike your ncaab is horrible..take a break and win some $$ betting on moneylines in NBA...thats what i do..

I'm going to FADE the Angles System until it starts churning out winners. Sometimes have a sytem to FADE is better than being able to follow it.
Remember people with time these system will have gathered enough info to start churning out winners. Nevertheless, this system would have buried me had I been playing all the games.
So 11/17 will be the first day of FADEing the Angles System.

Read my first post. I am not playing these games. I only play a select few.
But you are right, these system plays have been God Awful. I'm about to start FADEing the Angle System.

Louisville -10
--- Arkansas was horrible last year, in a shit SEC.
Memphis +12
--- Everyone is break their legs jumping off the Memphis Bandwagon, but this team is not absent of talent. Plus the coach is a proven winner.
Long Beach State -2.5
--- Listening to the radio on the way to school one of the guys from LVSC was on, and said that this team is competitive with a coach who recruits talent. Well Pepperdine is the total opposite.

I heard arkansas has some suspensions........whats the word on louisville? I know they got somardo samuels back but they lost earl clark and terrence williams.

Utah St. +2.5
--- Both are playing teams that failed to cover spreads, or lost as favorites. Cornell may be the best from the Ivy, and Utah St. is a top tier WAC school. Both are on the road, but thats not a deterrent. Utah may suck, and UMass might be even worse.
