    Louisville Vs Kentucky (HUGE PLAY)

Are you kidding me with this Line yes Kentucky is the most talented team in the nation but 8.5!? cmon now. I had the line coming out at around 6, thought it would come out at 6.5 MAX. There is PLENTY of value with this spread. Louisville has a solid chance to win the game and they'll be in this game for sure. These team already played and it was a close affair, keep in mind that louisville was not CLOSE to the team they are now at that time.

Louisville +8.5 (10 units) take it now as its going to drop

I agree with your play here, but please, the first game was not close. Kentucky was up by 17 in the first half and they were up 13 with 20 seconds left. Only reason they covered the spread of 9 was because they hit two threes with under 5 seconds left in the game. Probably the most brutal beat I had this year.

Uk is on a mission..this line is where is should be...not to mention, UK gets the luxury of having already played there during the SEC tourney...Uk wins by 15 at least

Good luck taking Louisville. Kentucky will have those 10-0 runs and Louisville will be fighting all game long to get this game into single digits. Only poor foul shooting will give the Cards a chance to cover.
No play is safe but in this game Kentucky is the safer choice.

Two City Pound Employees are all over The Cards in the 1st two posts!
Sounds like a Kentucky cover for 100 Units!

I like both of you guys thoughts, I was initially thinking Louisville because I know the line is a little inflated, but it probably wont matter, still this line should come down some near game time, still I probably wont, I know it shouldnt go up though, I'll try to get a lower line and hit UK, Ill probably definitely be on the ML.

No. 1 seeds favored by 5.5 or more are 4-0 ATS since 1991 in the final four

Kentucky's bigs will be a nightmare for L'ville down low. Dieng will likely get into foul trouble,so then what for louisville's bigs and how will they compete in the paint ?? Kentucky should dominate the boards and own the 2nd chance pts in this matchup (as if Kentucky needed more advantages as it is). And with all the fouls called for them in this tournament, only adds to KY's points even more. And Louisville will have alot of trouble scoring against them being as offensively challenged as they are against such a fantastic defensive team

UK is so much better than they were back then as well. They didnt really start turning it on and playing to their potential until probably late January.

ow do u guys feel about betting the first half on ky they seem very good at winning the first half lately

  16. #16

At least if you take Louisville you know they are resilient enough to maybe squeeze out a backdoor cover. This team just doesn't give up and i actually think Deng can play well against Davis down low. Also, Teague has played great lately but Siva and that pressure might make him turn back into that inconsistent freshman he really is. I like Louisville

alright guys the MAIN factor here is COACHING, obviously Kentucky is the more talented team, but you give Pitino a week to prepare for a game, i don't have the exact stats but im sure if u look it up, his record is pretty darn good. Look what happened with Mich State. This alone should keep it a close game which in turn makes lousville cover

  19. #19

If you bet on L.ville when if came out at +9 and wait til game time and take KY at -7 or 7.5 you could possibly have a good middle, got a feeling the Refs will do all they can to keep it close and give Pitno a chance.

Nut 4 nut BW. And I got big ones. You have tried so hard all year to diss UK. Face the fact. Its UK year and will put u and U of L 6 ft under. ML bet on U of L. Your just plan stupid for that commit. I can see +9 but not ML. You Probley forget Kentucky was blowing UL out when they met 1st time and gave up 2 late 3's with under Min. To go. And uk still won by 7 or 8. Kentucky is consist they are not an ATS team but they win ever game they are suppose too. UL getting beat by USF on home court. And don't Forget Uk has the BBN behind them also

  22. #22

UofL was pretty banged up first game, plus foul trouble. Forced over 20 turnovers and still kept it somewhat close in Rape arena, but what do I know.

  23. #23

If you are going to lay Louisville with the points I would wait as close to game time as you can. This line should climb as Kentucky will be the public play. Good luck!

Thank god theres no actual pick in there!
And I have to contest the highlighted stat. You might be right but I dont know if UCONN was less than -5.5 but in '99 I broke a 17 bet losing streak on UCONN moneyline in the championship game. So I rember the Gonzaga game. Gonzaga was still unknown then.
anyway I might be wrong with the spread & now that I think of it this may not have even been the final four, although I'm pretty sure it was.

3 of those 17 losses were actually pushes

  25. #25

Yeah, I actually forgot to highlight it but, it's in there.

uk will cover as they have last few games by hitting free throws down the stretch. they missed a few last game, but they will be locked in from the line late game, precluding a backdoor cover
