    Default Beating Up the Books with Andrew: College Hoops Edition

    Simply put folks, I'm only trying to accomplish one thing with this thread- beat up the books. I've recently gone viral with my handicapping and will use this site as my home base. I'll be posting free picks against the spread each day as long as the field isn't too rough out there. The key is not to force picks in the middle of the week, so count on the weekends to be much more active. Picks are based on 3*, 4*, or 5* confidence.

    I'm new to the forum, so I'll post on here as often as I remember. I love to hear people's opinions so shout out whenever you'd like.

    Sunday: 3-1

    W Tennessee State +3/Miami (OH)
    L Indiana -4.5/Iowa

    Maalik Wayns declared doubtful for the game against UConn tonight... Why is everyone so blown away that Nova blew a 20 pt lead with their leading scorer missing? They lack a closer and two of their starting guards are injured making it tough to take care of the ball and defend against the three... Here's a question... who's going to guard Jeremy Lamb tonight?

    That's essentially what I do: 1* being lowest level of confidence with 5* being highest. However, to achieve the highest possible winning percentage, we'll stay away from the 1* and 2* bets. I want you guys to have the best chances to win!! We want 60% wins at the very least. Invest in confidence, not in question

    UConn/Nova spread is moving... keep your eyes peeled... it opened at UConn -2, which would be a great play if it drops back down. Spread is currently at UConn -3

    Baylor/Texas is a VERY enticing matchup, but I'm not quite sure if it's worth the play... "toss-ups" are dangerous and can hurt the win column... still researching
