hoop i have a question i use ur picks alot, but you keep changing them throughout the day. I have seen you post but then before game time u eliminate some u picked...so should i just wait to the last minute to use ur picks?

I do change picks but today I will not be changing plays. Only one that I may drop is the Elon/Wolford to go over 61 in the frist half. I think I am going to drop that play. I do have one game this morning that I really like. I like georgia st/delaware to go over 59. Delaware is too uptempo and does not play good eneough defense . I think both teams will score over 30 points each in the first half.

i actually like over/unders more than ATS. think it's easier to find angles re: style of play than who will cover, esp 1H.

madetowin, nice call on that ISU/NIA 1H over. tailed you and cashed.
JMU 1H (-1.5) and game (-3). don't like giving points, esp for 1H, but am embolded after cashing 1H winners on Bradley and Bradley over. i can say from personal experience that W&M has turned in many a garbage performance at the Richmond Coliseum, and JMU has always had the Tribe's number. don't be fooled by the Tribe's run in the CAA tourney last year - this is not a program on the rise or turning a corner.
these are not 1H plays, but for game, also like Loyola-MD (+1), Creighton (-7), Tenn-Martin (-4). not crazy about giving that many points, but Creighton should come out focused after seeing Indiana State put a scare into N Iowa. Wichita State will try to slow the game down and can't play up tempo with Creighton. Shockers may hang around for awhile, but i expect Creighton to try and make this one easy to say their energy for tomorrow, and WSU should tire in the 2H after playing last night.

playing St John/ND 1H over 67.5 [madetowin initially suggested it]. that's relatively large number, and don't love 1H overs, but i like this one. ND is going to want to roll up points now that NCAA tourney at-large hopes are dashed. it's all they have left, and St John isn't about to stop them. ND wants 40 in the 1H.

i have game at Iona, 61-60. their HTH 1H numbers are pretty bad. highest 1H tally HTH in last 4 games is 53 [and no team reached 30]. looks like 1H in the low to mid-20s. unfortunately, Legendz doesn't have MAAC o/u, so i won't be playing it, but it looks promising. Originally Posted by hoop guru

agree. they also play in some arenas that aren't conducive to shooting, and mediocre teams trying to avoid mistakes to extend their season. first half overs are rough. you start out chasing. i liked the ND 1H over, but if St John's doesn't score 20, it's hard for it to go over. overs are more likely to be made in the 2H.
