    Lets see, Illini up by 8 with three minutes to play....in the final 40 seconds they miss the front end of a 1 and 1 three times and somehow the situation was either a 1 point win or 1 point loss....this time they lost....what was the spread again....

    i always wondered over the years why teams that were such powerhouses in football could not get the basketball program up to the level of the football program such as
