hoop, i like both MAC unders. i have Akron, 64-53, and Kent, 63-58, so probably like the Akron one better but not by a ton. the totals are relatively low, but a lot of MAC games are played in the 50s and even 40s in march.
like the Providence 1H a lot - they've been great on road 1H except for at WVU. BG 1H looks good too [rivalry with Miami-OH, Miami very low-scoring and hasn't won 1H by 4+ in conf play except for abysmal N Illinois].
any thoughts re: the following?
- like Dayton +10 and +5 1H, Cal +4.5 and +2.5 1H
- like Villanova, South Carolina, Nevada each to go under by at least 10

I do not like tennesse and buffalo. Take bowling green over 54.5 a t the half. Such a low number its going to hit. Bowling Green has had 40 plus point scoring 1st halfs. bowling green has had high scoring first halfs against miami oh.

alexander, i don't like tennessee. i have a lean on SC for the game, and i'm just not big believer in vols this year. i am on BG and Providence 1H. those are the only 1H plays that i have separately [went with more game lines than 1H lines than usual tonight].

hoop, good to see that we're on some of same stuff. i went with Akron under and Xavier over both for game rather than 1H. tailing you on BGSU and Providence 1Hs [those looked great after having chance to cap them]. also ended up going with Tenn/SC under and Dayton for game and lean on SC. thought long and hard about UCLA 1H over, Nevada 1H under but ended up not using those [Nevada had some surprisingly high 1H scores, and UCLA could be up 40 something -12 at half].

huge BGSU blocked shot with 0:03 remaining in 1H to preserve the 17-13 margin. really glad that line went up from 4 to 4.5. that was my big play of the day. thanks, hoop.
too bad about the 1H over. teams combined 2-20 from 3, 0-3 from line. need lot more fouls to get that over.

hoop, any thoughts on Tenn/SC 2H under 85? that's a massive number for 2 teams that aren't bad defensively. Tenn shot 56% 1H, SC 51.6%, combined 8-16 from 3. Even better, only 10 fouls called. Gonna be hard to to 85 without many FTs, and this officiating crew doesn't look likely to call many.

dane, i don't like it too much. first, i try not to go below 59-60 on a 1H under. second, Weber bitched for a week about lack of FTs for the Illini in first game. the Big Ten officials will send Illinois to the line at least 10 times in the 1H. that will then lead to fouls for Penn St. this will become a different style of play than game in Champaign. i think it goes to about 58-60 1H.

torontobball, just took dayton/x 1H over small [already had it in parlay and played game over].
Tenn/SC going to amazingly go under for game. decided to take 2H under to offset SC -2, and now this. roll the found money.

I took Illinois 2H -.5 relatively small, though thinking about upping it. don't like 2H unders unless number is way large [Tenn/SC earlier tonight], and agree that OT is a danger here. Originally Posted by t-bone
