Default Where do I go from Here?

Lost BIG today. I'm numb. Never had this big of a losing day. EVER.

Should I retire? About to throw my laptop out the window, or try and get it through the drywall. What happened today was dispicable. I can't begin to explain.

Take a break if you need to. Recharge, focus on something other than gambling, and when you are ready you will come back.
Reload.
Use money management.
Dont chase ever again.

Honestly bro, anyone who has been sports gambling for long enough has one of these kinda days atleast once. Keep your chin up.

i had those days when i first began to learn about gambling on sports!!, this is what i did,

1. deposit 20$ into your account.
2. stay away from totals, or unders, or parlays, or teasers, or props,
3. bet only straight wagers or small pointspreads
4. so let's say you start out with 20$, bet only 1/4 of it(5$), until you get to 200 $, it make take you 3-4 weeks to get it to 200$.
5. keep on betting no more than 1/4 of the amount of money in your account.
6. have this metality "i am not betting for the thrill of it, i actually want to win some money"
7. do not bet more than 2 games a day until you get to 200$, and when you reach 200$, still don't bet more than 2 games a day.
8. stay positive, and while you are betting , google how to bet and how to read trends, and learn to stay away from fishy lines and learn to actually watch the games and study as many teams as you can on the sports that you bet on. the more information you know, the better!
9. and last, assume that you are going to lose every once in a while, just make sure that every time you make a bet, your not sweating bullets about whether you will win your bet or not , (because you placed too much of your money on this one bet, or multiple bets)

those are my "rehab" suggestions.

Take some time, don't chase!!! Be patient and hopefully you have some huge days in the future. As Jerseykai said parlays and teasers should be avoided. BOL!

I'm sure most in here know what you are going thru. Its one of the worst feelings and makes it hard to pull the trigger again because you feel like you'll never win again. When you are ready to give it another go, start all over from where you're at now. Don't panic and try to get it all back at once. I've made that mistake more than a few times.

i love that ass in the avatar.

Pretty funny...last night I am laying in bed sleeples (still in a state of shock) after I got a little sex from my alcohol laden wife who just came home from dinner/martini bar with a friend from out of town and I hear some stumbling around downstairs followed by what sounds like the friend urinating on my kitchen floor. Now onto another layer of utter disbelief I go investigate. I hit the bottom of the stairs, peak around the corner and see my wifes friend passed out on the living room floor with her pee soaked pants down to her ankles and her BIG ROUND ASS AND LABES staring me right in the face. I couldn't believe it. A stream of piss on my kitichen floor and my wifes friend showing off the goods to me. Hysterical. And we're not even rednecks. This is a 32 y/o professional woman. I must say that ass looked nice, but not as nice as that ass in the avatar.

Should I gamble today? Why not.

Ohio U -4 and Akron -9.5 for me to start.

Degen...

We have all been there..and I think you and I even tried to give PittChic helpful hints when she went started losing.

Take a few days off.

You won't be missing much....especially if you like college hoops.

Conference Tourneys coming up. Shoot for then.

I know this, if I lose......a few days off re-focuses me.

Best of luck.

Im done for good. This is silly and a complete waste of time. Life is passing me by glued to scores at all time of the day and night. Sweating games. It's ridiculous.

Peace everyone.

Last post.

Degen- thats what gambling does and that is why im thinking about quitting for good as well. However, i feel that im usually good at picking games but as does everyone else. I dont see your reasoning for taking Ohio today as UB is a very good team and needed that win. As for Bowling Green, I went there and they are good when they want to play which they did today. Sorry for your losses

I'd suggest you try the NBA instead because the college games only going to get harder for you.
