Donovan is an awful coach...... so that leaves Boeheim, even though he's not that great either

Theyre both exceptional coaches. Top 10 for donavan, top 5 for boeheim. Boeheim over donavan at this stage in their carriers

How do you figure that?? Who has underachived more times in the Tourney? Boeheim has done it for a career. Thank God for Carmello or he would never had a Chip. Besides Donovan has 2 if I am not mistaken. True those teams were loaded, but they delivered. Please explain.

    Agree here.

I'm all for spotting overrated coaches, but not sure how Donovan would qualify as "awful."

Billy D is eventually going to overtake Coach K"s record he"s still 46 I think, and just picked up his 400th win.

Boeheim is not a good coach. Any coach that is not willing to change their defense for over 30 years is just stubborn. There are situations where man-to-man defense is beneficial and this guy is unwilling to change.

    Jim Boeheim
Hard guy to like before the Asst Coach Fine scandal.
He had to know what was going on and should do the
right thing and step down or be removed.
Pedophiles should be strung up...not defended.
Syacuse is forever stained as is PSU.

    Billy Donovan

Able coach with no molesters on the payroll.
My only complaint would be clock management.
He has cost me dearly at game's end.

    Edge---Donovan

Way to jump to conclusions. Boeheim is not a likeable guy at all... but that doesnt mean he was complicit with Bernie Fine. Syracuse hasnt been tarnished much at all from this scandal.... especially compared to PSU.

I do think Donovan is a better coach.

This sounds right. Cuse always underperforms, maybe from being ill prepared or from the cupcake schedule they always have.

Donovan is an awful in game coach. Do you people watch the basketball games when they play decent teams with good coaches?

Not trying to be mean here, but some of these comments are straight ignorance! Boeheim has the MOST 20 win seasons in the history of college basketball, more than Coach K, Knight, Calhoun, etc.......this is flat out impressive considering guys graduate, leave early for pro's, etc. And he still finds a way to get 20 wins and play in March. The only thing I agree with is the talent he has had he should have won more titles. The team in the 80s with Sherm, Coleman, Owens, etc was a powerhouse and should have won. But there both good coaches, boeheim is more consistent to me though.
