I know laying -26 on the road is not smart but Pepperdine just doesn't have the talent to keep up with Gonzaga. Last year's results will indicate what I just said. The first meeting between the two was actually televised on ESPN2 and Gonzaga cruised easily 92-57. The spread was only -11.5. The second meeting was very similar to the first meeting and Gonzaga easily won again, 101-59. Gonzaga was at home that time so the spread was adjusted to -23 but obviously the Zags covered that with ease. I'm sure there are a lot of better games out there but this could get ugly real quick. If anything, I'd take a look at the first half spread because I am almost 100% sure there will be no ML for that. With Gonzaga finally getting back into the Top 25, I'm sure they'll want to solidify their spot as one of the top teams in the nation. I'm looking for the Zags to roll and Pepperdine to drown in their own wave tomorrow.
