Good morning fellas! Ya'll ready for a big day in college hoops? I know I am!

First, as always, a prayer to the gambling gods: O gambling gods, we ask for your blessing as we wade through the tumultuous waters of ncaa basketball. For we know that while we may do our best here on earth to handicap games, it is you, o gambling gods, who are the ultimate deciders. It is you, o gambling gods, who allow our chosen teams to dominate so fiercely that we can turn off the game and spend our time on other things. But it is also you, o gambling gods, that give us games that are so close that we are forced to watch every second, sweating and cursing all the way. It is you, o gambling gods, who cause a defending player to trip on his shoelaces and allow an open 3 that gives us a cover when we would otherwise lose. But it is also you, o gambling gods, who allow a last second meaningless half-court shot to go in and blow a cover we had all game long. You, the gambling gods, do all these things. You create and destroy countless dreams every day. And you do this because it must be so. It is your way, the way of the universe, and it is mysterious and beyond our ken. But today, we give thanks for the money earned from wins, and the lessons learned from losses, and respectfully ask for another blessed day in college hoops. And, finally and most importantly, we recognize that there are more important things in life than gambling, and that if we are blessed with enough good fortune in gambling that our success may help us attend to those more important things, then that is the ultimate will of the gambling gods. Amen!

Thanks for the picks. I like the Columbia pick. It opened at +24 and is now +22 1/2. I bet it settles at 20. Columbia can score, or at least they could last year. Hopefully they can keep it reasonably close. Might take somefirst half also, when that line is released.

What's your thought on NC/Mich st game

Staying away from it for now. I don't know what to think. U leaning one way or the other so far?

i like UNC....mich st is a young team who lost their best player last year and UNC returns all those studs....UNC has won the previous 5 meetings by an average of 12 per game and this is probably the weakest Mich St team UNC has played

Good points. I'm probably gonna take them for a unit or two now that the line is at -8.5.

Ok, an update. In order to accurately reflect juice, my 11/9/11 plays yielded a profit of +2.55 units, not +3 as previously posted. That means my YTD before today's plays was 7-2-0, +11.55x. Today's plays bring us to:

Well folks, another exciting night in college hoops! Solid covers by UNC, Columbia, Valpo and St. Joe's. Easy cover by St. Bonnie's. Rutgers looked bad, ASU lost steam and couldn't cover, and Duke disappointed in the second half, although we got a push there by having them 1st half as well.
