    I think I would be careful tailing the Johnnies too often though. They didn't really impress me too much last night. They're playing short handed right now & are w/o their HC. They absolutely stink from the stripe. Read they missed 20 freebies in their last exhibition game & were a dismal 12-25 last night....ugggh....Setting some people UP for heartbreak when backers lay chalk on this team & need them to can the freebies down the stretch. They were also out rebounded by W&M 29-26 which is unacceptable against W&M types. Looks like they showed quite a bit of heart & simply outclassed W&M in the 2nd H though turning a 7 pt halftime deficit into a run away 15 point win.



    Ill be jumping ship once conference play starts. Im not that confident in what they will be able to do in conference play yet, but realize this game against Lehigh will be a sweep for the freshmen squad. Im honestly expecting this LeHigh team to make only 1/3 or 1/4 of their field goals through out the entire game. They are pretty good at free throws though.

    Looking at the Duequesne @ Arizona game I am going to most likely putting a UNIT or TWO on the OVER in this game even though the line isn't out yet I'm liking the OVER currently

    if you want my honest opinion and I could be throwing air on this but were comparing a

    Patriot League team to a Colonial Athletic Team that alone is a huge talent discrepancy

    I am pretty confident this William and Mary team would light up LeHigh I feel like I'm contradicting myself though when I say this because I also stated that LeHigh should win the Patriot League but don't hold me to that the entire league in itself is just a joke so predicting a winner in that league is like shooting a needle in a haystack


    But I say that this LeHigh team is no where near William and Mary

    I book on BetIslands I really thought they would be posting the lines early just like the other books but they might be another bodog in the making when it comes to posting lines. Everyone knows Bodog posts the lines as late as possible while bookmaker,pinny and 5 dimes are already posting the lines. Hell I left Sports Interaction because they were bad about posting lines and even SIA has the lines up before Bet Islands!

    just got back from school and doing some extensive research on the st. johns game before i look at the other games I will give input for you but my main look is at St.Johns right now still deciding if I can make a play on them or not

    Also have a lot of Interest in Miss. St vs Akron will be doing a lot of research on that game since the line dropped so much I'm interested in Miss. St now

    Akron @ Miss. St WRITE UP

    Alright guy I originally had no interest in this game what so ever until I saw the line drop in my favor and did some extensive research on this game. Im assuming no one here got to actually watch the Eastern Kentucky game so were all stuck scrambling looking at stats right? Correct Sadly Miss. St shot like pure shit from the 3 last night 8-22 that is a ugly ass number. What I'm so confused about is how this game was so close though. Miss. St has a extremely big front court. Now in saying that so does Akron. Akron has a very potent front court and as I'm writing this I'm losing more and more confidence in playing Miss.St. I actually wanted to play 3X Units on this game but Im going to be placing 1X on this game because I feel a huge advantage coming in fouls though. Akron is going to be fouling the Miss.St players more often. Miss St is a pretty gentle team when it comes to fouling players IMO, but this doesn't work much to my advantage because I also see that Miss St. didn't shoot extremely well from the free-throw. So my play on this game is


    Miss St. -6.5 for 1X UNIT downgraded from a 3X UNIT after extensive research

    LeHigh @ St.Johns after looking long and hard at this game for over 48 hours I have come to the conclusion that the play once again is St.Johns. Here we go boys here is the write up on this game. Well I already did a write up LeHigh earlier in this thread but I have found a small leak I am loving very much that is not being looked at. LeHigh does have the Nations leading scorer coming back. Yes that is correct little LeHigh has the Nations leading scorer coming back this year CJ McCollum one of the Star Juniors on this squad with an average of 21.8 points a game but lets look at what William and Mary had with there leading scorer Quinn McDowell who averaged 15.5 points a game last season he wasn't able to carry the load. The Stat I'm looking at though is the fact that McCollum averaged 7.7 steals a game almost 8 steals a game. I enjoy that stat actually and it works in my favor. Lets understand that LeHigh will want to play a slow paced game but if McCollum does go for those steals they will throw the LeHigh Defense and OFFENSE completely out of discombobulation because if they do convert the pace of the game is going to go into St.Johns favor and if they don't convert on the Steals St.Johns is still going to put high pressure on this squad and make this go crazy. The catalyst player we have to be worried about though if you are taking St.Johns is Holden Greiner the 6'7 Junior for LeHigh. St.Johns needs to keep him under 15 points IMO.

    So here its boys 3X UNITS on St. Johns -12.5

    not at all true William @ Mary was doing what William @ Mary does living and dying on the 3 ball shooting something like 63% from behind the arc int he first half. Give me a break that wasn't gonna last going into the 2nd half. And during the first half St.johns wasn't throwing ball into the middle to Gods Gift Achiuwa. Instead they were taking outside shots. During the 2nd half St.Johns turned up the tempo increase the full court press and started playing inside out with Gods Gift.

    Does that confuse you or do I need to dumb this down even more for you?

    This being said St.Johns now realizes inside out basketball is going to be a key to winning this game and LeHigh is going to be to slow to handle St.Johns high power offense

    following you with st johns...lehigh vs. st johns is like middle school playing a high school team...cant compare the teams from these two conferences...lehigh will be good in their conference this year...mccollum their best player only scored 7 points last year against their toughest competition USC in a game they lost by 27...
