To answer your question......

St Johns is at home. Miami just lost by 19 to barely ranked Clemson.
That's why Miami is only favored by 5.

The line was at 5.5...... the money is going on St Johns.
I guess you have to ask yourself..... is Miami better than Virginia Tech. The computer rankings have Miami at #39 and Vtech at #72, so I guess they think so. (St John's is #97)

Again, going back to that Clemson game....... Miami came out looking good taking a 21-9 lead. But their guard play had been sloppy had they had a ton of turnovers.
So how does Miami look after getting beat by 19 at home?

I would think Miami would be the pick here. They are the better team.

Normally i wouldn't doubt this line but the Red Storm will be playing without their starting point guard and their leading scorer today. With a team that has no depth that is some serious injury trouble

Well this was the same situation as the VT game.. Johnnies were even favored then. If Miami is overrated, then St. John's is even more so. And the line has been dropping to -3.5 so that's my play.
