I don't think Hawaii has much. Coach Bob Nash is going into his second year with only one starter from a team that went 11-19 last year. They have a transfer named Roderick Flemings, who is supposed to be good, but that won't be enough. Nash is just starting to build. Hawaii will finish in the bottom half of a weak WAC.

Iowa State is also in building mode, with not a lot of experience on the team. But they have been playing pretty good ball, with three solid wins. What I like about them, is that they appear to be a very good shooting team. In their 79-61 win over UW-Milwaukee, they had four players (Sean Haluska, Lucca Staiger, Diante Garrett, Jamie Vanderbeken) with three or more three-pointers. They had a 9-day break after that game, so the long trip to Hawaii should not be too much of a problem.

I think you have to go with the Big-12 team, and give up the two baskets.

    Good luck.

Take ST. Johns -11.5 vs. East Michigan. St. Johns wins by 20. Also take Uconn -5 and most likely will take alabama -5.

    Regarding Oregon State:

I can't lay 9.5 points with a team that has lost 23 games in a row (including all 18 of their PAC10 games last season, for the first time in PAC10 history). I'm staying away.

That said, though, Oregon State gave Nevada a bit of a run in Reno on Saturday night. The Beavers shot the ball well (51% FG, and 43% 3pt). They came out on fire, and led until well into the first half.

Coach Craig Robinson (Michelle Obama's brother, BTW), came from Brown, so he knows Yale. I think he is going to get the Beavers their first win in a long time. I just don't know if they will win by 10.

Good luck if you play it.
