Since the NBA season is about over it is time for me to try learning the WNBA. Going to wait at least a couple more weeks before going full swing but going to have a play every now and then until that point. No knowledge whatsoever of the sport but willing to give it a shot to see if it is something I might be able to use in the future to make a little coin.

659 Washington Mystics/Phoenix Mercury under 168 -103

Washington has exceeded 70 points 1 time in their 5 games and only average 64 ppg. So far they have given up an average of 70.6 ppg with the highest being 79. Their highest total went to 154 when both teams shot better than 45%.
Since scoring 94 points in their opener Phoenix has scored 76, 83, and 83 points in their other 3 games. They do allow 90 ppg and have allowed 80+ to be scored in every game against them but looking at the low score that Washington puts up I would have to say that they slow the game up by the looks of the points compared to a few of their shooting performances.

just use some good power ranking stats,and compare them with regular bball stats like ppg,rebounds,,ect,ect

i think its a 34 game season so you might as well hop on board,since you just started go with 1/3rd units.i never go full units with wnba i like the action though and it can be fun,and profitable.i need the stimulus my brain,like a crossword puzzle,i always need action or i get the jitters

Thanks for the pointers accuscore...decided to dedicate my first year of sports betting to learning how to handicap all the various sports to see what my strong points may be. I'm using small money anyways so no big deal.

yeah this year has been unreal i was solid in ncaab,totals and pga are going strong now

go figure last year it was mlb for me its just amazing how this investing thing works its opposites

You've got to find a guy called "king of college totals" at the rx forum and trail him. That's the best advice I can give you.

I love that you are giving women's hoops a shot. I think you can win long run!

The reason I say that is this; I always feel like the sharpest minds and the biggest amount of time spent on experts setting lines is in the games that will receive the most betting action.

NFL lines are often spotless for this reason. NBA, MLB, and NHL are all very strong too.

Then you look at NCAA and notice that the top 25 teams always have very strong lines. But sometimes you catch games like Florida Atlantic -13.5 @ Florida Internatonal, and you laugh at how easy a play FAU is. But the bookies can afford not to be perfect on a game like that; it won't be as heavily bet as USC VS. Oregon will.

So by this logic, Womens Hoops is probably somewhere where you will be able to catch sick opening lines. If you notice enough trends and get good at capping the games, you will definitely turn a big profit IMO.

Diogee, i'd like to say that i respect you and your picks. So far when I go with your picks, it's been pretty good. I've been cashing a lot in WNBA (surprisingly). I usually parlay all my bets and cash in, but today I notice youngsc with his over/under prediction, so I decided to combine the atlanta +11 with over/under on both games w/ the conn/seattle game. I lost big on that one thanks to youngSC. But, I kept my composure and went for 1st half on Suns, cashed it, full games suns & under parlay, and also cashed it. So I have won back my lost and more + my 3 way parlay MLB. Lesson learn, track good cappers, analyze bad cad cappers for play! Thanks YoungMill....I am a pretty new capper and only been capping games for a little less than 5 months and still have plenty to learn. My biggest issue is playing too many games especially in bases but I hope to eventually get that under control as I get better at defining my edge. Glad that you have cashed in on some of my plays and I hope I can continue to learn and build up some units.
