2. Magic/Pistons u185.5 Rationale for under The last time these teams met at Detroit the game went over (193, 100-93). The over won't cash in two consecutive matches in Detroit. The reason for the over then was that Magic got 29 and 36 in 1Q and 3Q, respectively. Recall that in that match, Magic scored 11 and 17 in the 2Q and 4Q, which means that their 1Q score was more than the sum of their 2Q and 4Q scores. Pistons will play the D from the word go to avoid the kind of humiliation they got at home in the first of their series against the 76ers. Don't expect a 29 or a 36 from Magic in any quarter if Pistons turn on the D - as we expect from them at this stage of the series. One more reason is that Pistons only had a 3 digit score in two consecutive home games thrice all season. These were against teams with worse defenses than Magic. After a rigorous analysis of their scoring patterns, here are my predictions: 1) Pistons are likely to score at least 7 points less than their last home score. 2) They will win by 10+. Also recall that the first match of this series in Detroit ended 91-72 (163) On the basis of the above likely possibilities, I'm predicting: 93-83 (or less)= 176 If we keep Piston's maximum score at 93 and the winning margin is 10+, then there's no reason why the under shouldn't cash. I'm planning on parlaying the handicap win with the under. If you plan on doing same, don't panic. My record in parlaying a handicap and a o/u for the same match is impressive. I haven't got that wrong in the playoffs.

okay , so all the favs keep winning and i keep playing an underdog to get a game .
so as soon as i take the home fav the dog will be good right ? 12 - 1 home teams right now in the 2nd round i think . 1 away dog that was $ was pistons . well yeah , guess what , of course i like the hornets tonight and they are the home fav . does this mean anything ? if the spurs are good then it would do damage to my brain , so what do i do ? **** it . hornets -2 -140 7 units magic +7 -120 7 units if these mugs are no good then i dont know what to say . home court being so strong in 2nd round is a joke . these teams cant play in another gym , they are some sorry ..... i dont know what . true teams split . these teams this year are some ____ . just take the home fav thus far and you have a great run , no wisdom or capping involved . |
