Default Hornets v. Spurs

Teams split during the regular season.

Who wins the series?

I would love to see New Orleans win this series, but I think the Spurs win in 6.

Spurs in 6. Too much experience and it is not the Hornets' time yet. Maybe next year.

This will be an interesting series for me to watch. For a simple reason. The difference between Byron Scott and Mike D'Antoni. It was mainly because of D'Antoni's temperament and lack of experience as NBA player that the Spurs got into the Suns head. (Steve Nash has a Spurs trauma. So does Amare).

The Spurs will try their cheating ways with the Hornets. And the Hornets would be an easy target for the dirty tricksters, but for the fact that Scott won't allow it to get into their heads. Because of the cool coach from the Showtime Lakers I expect the young Hornets to behave in a more mature way than the veteran Suns against this opponent. The Hornets will pull the trigger if given a chance to close out the game.

Spurs dirty trick book still decides the series. Among other things, they came up with the trip over your own leg (borrowed from soccer) in the last series. I hope to see a new trick or two, because these things do get old fast.

I have to ask , are you still on the Ny Rangers ?
I was influenced by your nhl talk about the Nyr early on ..
could we compare this nba scenario to the nhl in any way ?

If you think I am "due" to pick a winner, then you obviously don't read this forum enough!

no egos . a person can be due to hit a series if they are wrong on the one before and go 1 - 1 , is normal occurence . only you know if you are due i dont know . you saying you are on a hot streak picking each series so far ?
picking the series is not the same as picking a game ....
you perfect so far in series in nba pickig each series ?

all the favs have won their series thus far in the nba . no underdogs . only way to know something is to ask . competition or tryin to help ?

The only first round series I picked in the forum was Spurs in no more than six when a lot of guys were supporting the Suns before the playoffs started. I am also on the record with a Celtics/Spurs NBA Final.

cool , I am due to be right with the padres and rsox tonight (looks like it anyway) . this is how it works (i was due , nothing more nothing less) . if someone asks me are you due for a perfect day and i say whaaaat you must not see me go perfect on here all the time ? would be my ego talking . ego can be bad if YOU ACTUALLY try and communicate and pass ideas back and forth over the internet with someone that knows what they are doing (or at least trys real hard) .

WE WILL SEE HORNETS SMOKE THE SPURS . why ? because duncan cant shoot free throws .

we agree on Celtics .
