Hornets v. Spurs
Teams split during the regular season.
Who wins the series?

I would love to see New Orleans win this series, but I think the Spurs win in 6.

Spurs in 6. Too much experience and it is not the Hornets' time yet. Maybe next year.

This will be an interesting series for me to watch. For a simple reason. The difference between Byron Scott and Mike D'Antoni. It was mainly because of D'Antoni's temperament and lack of experience as NBA player that the Spurs got into the Suns head. (Steve Nash has a Spurs trauma. So does Amare).
The Spurs will try their cheating ways with the Hornets. And the Hornets would be an easy target for the dirty tricksters, but for the fact that Scott won't allow it to get into their heads. Because of the cool coach from the Showtime Lakers I expect the young Hornets to behave in a more mature way than the veteran Suns against this opponent. The Hornets will pull the trigger if given a chance to close out the game.
Spurs dirty trick book still decides the series. Among other things, they came up with the trip over your own leg (borrowed from soccer) in the last series. I hope to see a new trick or two, because these things do get old fast.
