This is too easy. Detroit hands down. They have been a covering machine.

Cleveland is another since they are so streaky.

If Detroit is a covering machine then why don't use instead of
staying away, join them?

I refuse to lay damn near double digits every night. Their hot streak will end soon enough. I will take the points anyday.

There are some i mostly avoid, like Detroit, but i have no definite stay away list. There are some situations where i could bet any team as long as i see value.

I bet against the Celtics alot and have been kicking azz lately. Please join me in betting against theese dismal losers.

I usually do a unit to be loosing at the half, and atleast one unit for the game.

Hop on the celtics suck bandwagon.

If any of the teams listed in this thread are playing the Celts bet them anyway.

Boston was 4-16 SU and 9-11 ATS in these games

Teams I avoid

Detroit...just don't like laying big points all the time and they have been serious cash burners last couple of weeks.

Spurs...they have killed me this year. I figured out that the main problem with the Spurs from a wagering stand point is that last year they had the great offense and were just killing other teams and you would expect the same this year with Finely and Van Exel added to the line up but what has happened is that they have reverted to an older version of the Spurs...tough defense and just enough offense to get the W. I hate betting against them since they I don't have any fun hoping that they lose.

Utah - They have burned me several times no matter which way I played them and I hate watching their games.

Washington - Never see a line I like and they have burned me a bunch.

Nets - They are either killing other teams or they just out right suck. I have avoided their games for years.

Teams I love

Cleveland
Seattle
Clippers
Houston (were on my don't play list but I think I got them figured out)
Portland
Knicks
Boston
Toronto
Denver
Philly

You got two of the 3 I hate to play but as for the Sonics one thing you can count on is they cannot play defense. I have cashed a bunch of overs and played against them. You will get burned if you count on them to cover for you.

You are absolutely right, BBD
Made one notable omission, and that is Chicago. When they lost 7 or 8 in a row at home earlier in the season got burned a few times. Cannot count on them to cover in any game really.

Like Alamorich i have been avoiding NJ and UTA for the last two years.
In certain situations i play some of the teams on my list.
The ones to the end of the list i have added lately, for example currently lost 3 bets in a row involving SAC...
GS were a decent team first month or so, but suck big since then...
IND i generally like, but with O'Neal out now they have so much rookies in the squad playing big minutes...

I knew this was gonna be a great thread!! Wonderful input from all
of you. I am glad I am not alone with Utah! That team is Dr.Jekyll Mr.Hide
All season.. I've made so much money on my favorite team CLippers!! BABY!!

99% I will stay away from games were point spreads are over 9.5. I got burned
in the past, getting 10pts n losing by 11 or giving 10 and winning by 9.

Utah, hands down, especially when I am on them.

The only (mild) consolation aftreward is to go read the game stories where Sloan absolutely flogs them. I do love Jerry Sloan.
