Houston Rockets
They are quietly rising up the West standings. They just won their 12th straight game tonight, beating the Bulls 110-97, and are 21-3 in their last 24. That winning streak is most in Rockets franchise history. But its amazing how much they have won over the last month, and they are only sitting in the 7th spot.
One more win and they tie the Trailblazers with the longest winning streak this NBA season.

Well they made it 13 in a row the other night against the Wizards with out Yao, but you would think they can't keep this up to long. They play the Grizzlies tonight, so they might get up to 14 in a row, but we will see where they will top out. Losing Yao hurts, and they are only in the 7th spot in the West.

I'm sure the Trailblazers and Nuggets couldn't be more happier since Yao went down. They sit in 9th and 10th at this point.

As I figured, they would get their 14th straight tonight against the Grizzlies, beating them 116-95. That gives them the longest winning streak this season, at 14.
Can McGrady carry this team to the playoffs?

Well on Sunday the Rockets beat the Nuggets, to extend their winning streak to 15. Plus they have moved up to the 5th spot in the West now. Next up are the Pacers on Wednesday, in Houston.

They made it 16 straight tonight, taking out the Pacers. They go on the road on Thursday to play the Mavericks.

Make that 17 in a row now. They beat the Mavericks last night, and will meet the Hornets on Saturday.

make it 18 in a roll, and ther're 6-0 without Yao Ming....they have Nets, Hawks, and the Bobcats next....Possible 21 straight!!
Go Rockets!!

It looks very possible for them to make it 20+. But then again, the team you least expect, is usually the one to do it.
Bobcats are on quite a roll themselves, for being the Bobcats.

They continue to prove me wrong. I thought they were finished without Yao, but Adelman has done what he did in Portland and Sac-Town and gotten the most from his role players. I like them to keep rolling until their showdown with the Lakers.

i finally got smart and put down wayyy too much on the rockets -12, then again at -11....never in doubt after halftime, until they lose we should all keep riding them, although they will prob. lose out of the blue sometime soon, i don't see them making a run at the Laker's record....still, definitely a force to be considered for the playoffs, i think they are definitely playing better than spurs, dallas, phoenix to name 3...

They should have little trouble with Atlanta and Charlotte, so second place alltime should be all theirs.

Since 96-97, home teams that won 10 games straight or more are 58-37 ATS (61.1%). I don't know why anyone would go against the Rockets. Go with them until they lose.

I won't bet against them again (at least during their streak). They've kept covering those DD lines. Amazing run. Hope they keep it up.

Who knows. It's seems low to me too. I expect it to go to -8 at least. I grabbed it while it's still low.

Houston will cover -5 three times over. Sooner or later, the doubters will learn. Allowing bias to cloud one's judgement will only lead to losses. Read: Houston >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Atlanta. They're "for real," at least tomorrow, as they have been every other game for the last, uh, 19.
