Brandon Roy
Brandon Roy will miss Friday and Saturday's road games due to a death in the family. After initially saying he would return for Saturday's game at Indiana, Roy is now not going to play until Monday, when the Blazers visit the Rockets. Martell Webster is expected to start in his place. Feb. 8 - 6:21 pm et Source: The Oregonian Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon Kirk Hinrich (bruised ribs) and Ben Gordon (wrist) will both sit out Saturday's game against the Jazz. Both players were questionable for the game, but at this point we'll be happy just to see them play before the All-Star break. Chris Duhon is coming off a career-night, but will have his hands full playing against Deron Williams. Feb. 9 - 3:48 pm et Source: Chicago Sun-Times Michael Redd and Yi Jianlian Michael Redd and Yi Jianlian practiced on Friday and both should be ready to play on Saturday. Redd has missed six straight games with a knee injury, and declared himself ready to go today. "I had a good day of practice today and went hard," Redd said. "I just wanted to test it and see how it felt, and it felt good. I'm excited about playing tomorrow, man." Yi has missed two games with a shoulder injury, but said after Friday's practice "It's nothing really serious." Feb. 8 - 4:30 pm et Source: Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel |
