Thumbs up E.S. Play of the Day, Friday 02/08

I'm gonna start posting Estonian Sensation Play of the Days. Inspired by imgv94 and other guys who post just one pick per post so it's easy and interesting to follow, with some reasoning in it. The other reason is, I'd like to get some more feedback on my thinking.

Friday Feb 08

Pick: Magic -1, 2.5u -110

I don't even see why the line is moving in Lakers favor. They are B2B, with Kobe hobbled, Gasol still needing time to fit into the rotation, against a clutch Turk and man child Dwight, with Lewis having their back. I do think its going to be a close game, but my prediction is Magic will win by about 3-5 pts. Not sure if I'd have the confidence had the Lakers pulled out a win last night against the Hawks, but since they didn't, my thought is they are vulnerable enough for Magic to have an edge.

"Orlando fell behind by as many as 14 points in the third quarter before rallying to take the lead 112-111 with 1:49 to play on a pair of free throws by Turkoglu. However, Turkoglu missed a wide-open 3-pointer on Orlando's next possession and the Lakers scored the next seven to win the game."

Too bad the ball bounced the other way tonight. Definitely underestimated Kobe and Gasol. Howard 8-8 etc, so not too shabby, but Lakers were in form after all.

ES: 0-1, -2.5u
