B2B without Gooden, and some times ATL can play decent ball (as we saw against Lakers). The line seems about right to me.

if anything, i'd bet cleveland ML...clevelands tired, but i see it like this...

lakers lost to ATL at home, but if kobe was 100%, lakers would have won...and since the lakers LOST to cleveland, cleveland should have an advantage over ATL more than lakers did, especially if kobe's finger was messed up...so IMO, i'd bet cleveland, but to be safe, ML it

Default Atlanta -1 (h)

Atlanta played poorly for about 45 minutes against the lakers before finally winning after the lakers ran out of gas. Cleveland Cavs are in the same position as the lakers were in, playing a game the night before. The cavs are a terrible 1st half team while Atlanta at home is tough. Atlanta will come out strong against the cavs who might be without Gooden, listed questionable. Also Pavlovic is out. Look for the cavs to be flat in the first half. I think the hawks will take the lead in the first half and covers easily. The cavs will comeback and cover the 2nd half.

1)Gooden won't be playing
2)Atlanta can play really well sometimes (especially at home)
3)Lebron has a small injury to his ankle (won't keep him out of the game)

Yiou ask that question as if Atlanta is a bad team. They are much improved this year over past seasons, they're 22-24 overall and a commendable 16-9 at home. They are also 5-1 SU in their last six home games with the only loss being by two points to a Portland team that was scorching hot at the time. Oh and they are 2-0 ATS vs. Cleveland this year including a nine-point win in this building last month, and the Hawks were -2.5 that day.

Now I am not saying I like either side, but I do think this line is basically right on.

Being from Atlanta I can tell you that this Hawks team is playoff caliber. I wouldn't bet against them at home. It's a young explosive team that is gelling together. The only thing that worries me tonight is who is going to guard the Cavs Z. Hawks Z will have his hands full.

Exactly he left the game last night... Cleveland is not a very good team right now and I know I would not take them... Atl may be worth a shot here no doubt about it...
